Hey mate, the canyons are actually epic. Definitely go there. Also go snorkelling at oyster stacks... That's where most of this was shot. It's incredible.

Definitely skip this section. Go down further to the edge of the creek. It's hard and we ended up using this way about three more times.

9:05 Not sure if you figured out or not. It happens when you overheat your intake temp too high. Either get intercooler fan or try drive in low range with lower engine load. Looks like you were on high range 1 gear. I can almost guarantee your intake temp would have reached over 100 C in that condition.

What PSI did you cross Yardie Creek with? Should do it a piece of piss at 15 - 18 psi

Just found you guys, Great vid.! We are on our way in with our van and 200 soon, similar weights. What was your original pressures, and what did you take them down to once bogged?

G'day mate. I run fronts at 45, rears at about 50. Van 65-70. On these beaches I ended up with 10-15 in the car and 20 in the van. The vans nearly 4 tonne so it's a big anchor. My best advice is don't go through the middle of the crossing, go just a bit further to the creek side and it's really hard ground so very easy to drive on. Manoeuvring on some of the beaches you'll have to drop them down a lot as some of them are super soft. Have a good trip.

Did you find the problem with the lack of power with the cruiser?
@brettandamber

Definitely not, it pulls the 4t van with ease. I had it in high range and should have been in low. I should have also taken more out of the tyres. I didn't realise it was so soft.
