You are so patient... she was crying for her mother and siblings. A natural instinct. Now you are her family. Showing a baby cat with your fingers how to dig in the box is usually all you need to do for them to get the idea. For the drinking, because mouth and nose are so tiny and close together at this age, she has to cautiously experiment so she doesn't inhale the water
