Wow I usually don't put down a comment for videos, but after watching many Kawasaki Ninja 250 mod videos, I absolutely fell in love with your bike. Amazing job, once I get mine in a few months I'm going to do so many similar things to yours! Absolutely amazing. Great bike

Installing camera takes about 15 mins. Wire camera power and ground to license plate light. Monitor to any ignition controlled wire at fuse block. Just splice it in. On a ninja 250 it's the brown wire with black stripe. Then it's all hooked up to ignition and you won't kill your battery. I'm not an electrical guy and I figured it out and finished it in about 20 mins.

Delsigy...I thought about taking mirrors off but my wife will be riding bike as I got A new Ducati and she is a newbie. Camera was so simple. It's just velcroed to license plate, ran wires through hole in under tail and wired to tag light harness. Monitor powered from fuse block I made running off battery so only comes on with ignition. Works so well spent $30 all new on eBay

I have the scorpio alarm system installed in my 250 as well. Peace of mind is the best. I will buy the ignition kill part of it at some point, maybe even the motion sensor. Anyways...nice mods.

@nichloas. Sorry...get to you quick. Look for a seller who has sold thousands and don't spend more than like $40. Total for both. There are all different size monitor. I go with 4.3 in and secure in to top of instrument cluster with a strip of heavy duty Velcro. Also 2 pieces at each top corner. It's wedged in really tight, stays put. Run wires up through front fairing directly behind windscreen keeps it hidden well. I run the pier for monitor to a little $5 fuse block I made coming
@buddyandsharma201011 жыл бұрын
I use 2 little pieces of good Velcro one on each top corner and take the back piece off. Also one long strip of velcro across bottom of monitor And instrument cluster. It's easy to adjust it just right and it's never come off in over a year unintentionally.

@32paulsmith just buy it at motorcycle superstore com. You'll put in make model and year and it selects proper part for you. But the recharge kit and this filter lasts life of engine. You just clean it and re oil it. Very easy, have done it a couple times already.
@buddyandsharma201011 жыл бұрын
@blake...the ninja 250 goes about 100mph max.so yes it is strong enough for freeway. It revs very high but is meant to do so. If you are going 85 in 6th gear you'll be at about 9000rpm. Gas economy is great. About 60 mpg. So it is a great commuter bike. It has a good radiator so doesn't get too hot in start and stop traffic. It's not like riding my Ducati but it also isn't nearly expensive as a Ducati. The Ducati gets over 200 degrees if you are just sitting around idle at lights. It is not meant for that.

Lights at www.ledunderglow.com tires are Bridgestone Battle AX BT-003 rear 140/70-17 Is as big as you can go on stock rim without developing issues. I've seen people put a 150 on the rear but they always have issues. The 140 give you just a little more stability especially when driving over grated bridges while still maintaining the nimble agility of the 250

Yep and don't buy an expensive one. The one I have cost $35 for the monitor and camera brand new on eBay . They are all the same and you aren't shooting a movie. 4.3 in monitor is best. Also you have to have a double bubble windscreen for monitor to fit. I have a zero gravity dark smoke model works fine and all you do to attach it is Velcro strip across bottom of monitor and top of instrument cluster and top corners of monitor. It will fit snug and won't come loose.

Jake Fejer I’ve sold this bike because I don’t have time to ride two bikes. I have a Ducati 848 evo now and I bought Corbin leather seats for it as well. It was my first upgraded. If you ride a lot, those memory foam Corbin seats are literally the best investment your “ASS” will ever make. I wish I would have bought them sooner and I recommend them to every sport bike rider I meet. They adjust the angle so you aren’t so forward aggressively leaning, which saves your back. I can ride my Ducati all day long and never have a sore butt. They aren’t cheap but well worth every penny.
