I love how people don't understand the point of building a smaller bike. They are like...just buy a H2 and race it!! I can build a 600 race bike that will smoke this. Yea..I'd hope so, but can you riding it? But, some people want to race in a different class..some want to save money and have it done right. Sure, you can buy a 600 and throw it on a track with only brakes and pipe perhaps...but these little bikes, you can do a lot more for the price of a new 600.

The 300 series bikes are becoming more popular and that is exactly why Kawasaki responded to the need with the 400, i agree with you and so does major bike manufacturers...
@TheVanquisherGaming5 жыл бұрын
Agree ..also these so called little bikes are capable enough to get you out of tricky situations, it gives you enough fun on open highways , gives better mileage also if not ridden carefully they can pass you to the other side( after death).So these so called little bikes are actually much more practical. Litter class bikes are strictly meant to be on the tracks only but people made it like these litter class are the real deal....pity on them.

I know the rear shock is adjustable, but Im looking into installing vortex clipons to my wife's 400, but its still on a stock rear shock and stock front suspension. I didnt know how much "too" much was when lowering this particular model. from what I've read it should only need to be dropped 5mm, but I'd hate for her to find any stability issues when shes out on the track.

No, there isn't more. He changed the power curve because he couldn't rev it out. Learn about the area under the graph.. You can trade hp for torque or visa versa.
@exothermal.sprocket6 жыл бұрын
@@skewty Of course there is more. A custom cam profile isn't going to suddenly fall flat on it's face after the 10k limit, if the limit is removed. Increased compression ratio practically guarantees that. The math formula for horsepower just requires more revolutions per minute to increase power, everything else equal. If the heads can flow more air, they can make more power with faster engine speed.

It is a A2 bike.. An A2 bike has a power limit of 35kW = 47bhp and a power to weight limit of 0.2kW/0.268 bhp per kg, so if you want the full power of 47/48bhp you need a bike with a wet weight (full tank and oil) of 175kg. The Ninja 400 comes in at 168kg so the power limit is 44bhp.
