@@victorkaplansky congrats. It is a great "little" bike. It'll be difficult, but I usually recommend following the manufacturer's break in instructions. 4k rpm for the 1st part of break in is the hardest part. 6k for the 2nd part isn't too bad since you can ride at highway speeds in most places--about 65 mph in 6th gear.

I was going to do a 10,000 mile review on my Z 500 SE but at 9400 miles and I got hit by a car so I can’t do that

I don't like the design of the sliders. They could catch on a vine riding up a driveway or narrow walkway/dirt road or even a loose rope, or touch a car when lane splitting.

@@caveyful I don't mind them. They might be a bit over stylized. But they do match the edginess of the bikes overall design. I hadn't really thought about them snagging on anything. That could definitely be a problem. There are probably aftermarket options. Thanks for the comment.
