Hi, No need for a " shake " button. I bought a small digital kitchen timer off ebay, for about £3.0. I Set the timer for ,say, 5 mins, pop it in my pocket, when the timer sounds, " shake" the basket. Job done. :)

Hi Lindz! I just discovered you! I’m in Texas & I love your video. I just subscribed and look forward to watching your other videos. I hope you are doing well after having a few rough times. I have a back with similar problems to you so I know what you’re going through. My family is from England. My grandparents used to go back and forth between England and Canada for years in the Queen Mary. Then they moved to Canada. That’s where I’m from. I miss all the English customs I grew up with and all my wonderful family. Take care! ❤️

I'm trying new exercises for back strength to early to tell if they are making things worse or better 😳 I lived in the UK for the first 13 years. I'm now in Ireland. So a lot of my cooking is home comforts from both. Good to have you here x

@@LindzandLife It was so nice to hear from you! I’m going to binge watch your videos this weekend. I’d your Ninja the DZ550? I ordered the 440? Model but I decided to return it and get the 550 because the temperature probe will be very useful. I was watching the prices and the 550 price was just lowered yesterday by $30 so I ordered it at 4am this morning. (Yeah, I was up very late!). On top of the savings I was able to use my credit card’s cashback so I ended up paying only $53! I just checked and the Ninja was delivered an hour ago! It only took 7-8 hours to be delivered! I can’t wait to start using it and I’m definitely going to learn about how to use it by watching your videos. I love your voice ❤️ and the way you put together your videos! Hope your day is going GREAT Lindz! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

HI Lindz, as you know if you remember I have the Chefree 2 drawer like the Ninja and use it every single day, haven't used a pan or an oven for years. Anyway the one thing I like about the Chefree is the 2 level base for the drawer, such a simple thing to do, and I always seem to have one drawer on high and the other on the bottom positions. As for the tool for lifting out the containers I have one I don't use because I'm always afraid I'll drop the container I use the aluminium foil trick folded to make a sling, and they can last a long time and placed under the container and over whilst cooking you don't have to search for it when the time comes to remove the container.

Hi Lindz. I'm definitely going for the AF451 soon as my original Ninja has reached the stage where it can no longer be fully cleaned & many of the stains are now permanent. Just to ask your opinion, I saw a video some time ago where a couple were reviewing the AF451. Their conclusions were positive however, they did agree that it was very difficult to clean thoroughly in fact, they described it as "fiddly" when referring to cleaning the drawers. Is that something you agree with? Also, I have the Ninja XL Grill with the probe. I seldom use it but I quite like the probe. One thing though, you mentioned the undercooked chicken & that rang a bell. The XL Grill has settings i.e. when using the probe you can select rare, medium, well done etc. I find, and so do others, the descriptions are not what I call accurate, for example, if I cook stake, I like it medium to well done but if I select this it cooks it to what I would call medium. Fair enough, I simply select well done but it could be a Ninja thing to have a different idea on what is medium or rare etc. Let me know about the washing thing though, Lindz. Thanks
@LindzandLife5 ай бұрын
Hi Mark 👋 I can definitely say all my air fryers are tricky to clean you need a few tooth brushes but staying onto of the cleaning of them really helps and a really good degreaser I use a product called elbow grease it's the best I've found. The draws after a year are a little discoloured but nothing major again a good washing up liquid ( the cheap ones don't seem to work for me so I use fairy) As for my poor chicken there's only one temperature setting for chicken on this model. I'm still very much a frying pan girl for steak the rare occasion I can afford it theses days 😂 x

@@LindzandLife Thanks, Lindz. I was worried you would say that, the only thing in my house that I clean with a toothbrush is my teeth. I've tried Elbow Grease & it's good but I prefer the HG Grease Away & The Pink Stuff (miracle cleaning paste). Not exactly rock n roll nowadays am I? Cheers Lindz.
