Hello... You are doing a great job. I am from EU ( Bulgaria) and more than month I am looking on internet, reading reviews and been in a big dilemma which one, not only brand, but also which one model to buy... Single, double, power... We are family of 5. After watching that and one more if your videos, my choice now is that Phillips Dual, because the size of the big drawer, noise, nice look and not last...the price. 🏆 Thank you! Wishing you more viewers and success on your channel.

Great insightful review. Based on your video we bought the Philips. Mainly because of the asymmetric baskets, overall value, efficiency and the fact that it doesn’t provide a paper manual. Why waste paper when you can have it digitally and much more comprehensively. We also found out that the Philips in Australia packaging is 100% recyclable. Which scores extra points for us.
@CandidClaraАй бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I know you guys in Aus are much more focused on sustainability than in Europe so I'm not surprised with this feedback, I think paperless is where we are heading, but there's still a big portion of shoppers here in Europe who prefer a physical manual. Philips have brought out a steam version of this model which I'm going to be testing at some point in the next few weeks, but it is more expensive and I don't think the 3000 is lacking!

Brilliant thanks. Seem to recollect someone saying that if you press and hold down the Cosori preheat it will turn it off as a default - not verified. I would really like a comparison of the general build quality and the durability of the baskets after multiple dishwashers but it’s likely similar.

Is the lower max temp in the Phillips much of an issue? I was wondering if their “rapid air” or whatever technology makes up for the lower max temp. Are there dishes that just won’t be possible in only 200 or is it only a matter of cooking a couple of minutes longer? Also the low max time is a bummer, but still I’m most tempted to buy the Philips.

The only issue I see with the Cosori is that it doesn’t have an internal divider between the two compartments. So I presume, it will heat both compartments even if you only have one on. So won’t be as efficient and may cause other food to ‘pre-cook’ if using the time sync function. Interested to know people’s opinions if that makes a difference or not in the real world?

Ninja are Tesla of air fryers, market leaders on air fryers and on paper great specs but quality control is a problem. I've had 3 different ninja products one an air fryer and plastic they use is really poor, scratches easily and they use a lot even though prices are high. Also if you buy one of their products too new, it'll straight up not work, we bought the ninja kettle and the amount of faults the electronics had, it errored boiling water, madness. I've now got a Tower air fryer and although not as powerful or feature rich, it just works.

I bought the Philips a few weeks ago, and while it's a great air fryer, I keep wishing the smaller drawer were bigger. So I'm planning on returning it and getting either the Cosori or the Ninja. The surface size of the baskets on the newer Ninja (DZ550, with probe) is bigger than the one shown in this video and the same size as the Cosori (8.5 x 7 inches). Since you have "lived" with both, is the Cosori still your favourite? Why or why not? Ninja costs less than the Cosori in Canada, but I might still go for it ;)

Great review! I’ve discovered recently your channel and let me say that it is splendid. I am on the process to decide wish air fryer to buy and I have a few doubts, that I would like to ask your help about. Regarding the depth in cms, these are the measures I found online: Ninja AF400: 27 depth (37 depth including the handles) Cosori Dual Basket 8,5L: 44 depth - does this includes the handles? Phillips 3000 9L: 27 depth - does this includes the handles? Can you tell me the real depth on all of them with and without the handles? By your reviews I would maybe considering the Cosory, but it seems a bit bigger in depth… You say that you believe that Phillips most probably only have one fan speed. Shouldn’t it perform worst because of that? I suppose that the different fan speeds on Ninja and Cosory would fit better to the needs of the different type of dishes you cook. Only the Phillips have the preset programs. I am a newby on air fryers. Do you think that, that’s and advantage? I would say that looking at the food icon it would be more immediate to know what to do, rather looking at a printed table… Or is this not pretty relevant, and very soon became irrevelant? On the other hand, the other two brands have all several type of cooking programs (Air Fryer, Max Crisp, Roast, Bake, Dehydrate, Reheat - that manages the fan speed, besides temperature and time) that Phillips doesn’t have. Is the preset programs some how similar to the cooking programs? Is it better to have these programs or the Philips presets? On Cosory there is the Grill program that doesn’t exist in Ninja. What is it used for? What should be the similar in Ninja? The Air Crisp? Because I think that is the only one that Cosory doesn’t also have. On your reviews you mention the Air Crisp is to use I think in frozen snacks or something like that… To grill a generous stake or a T-bone is it on the Cosory Grill program that should be cooked? And what about in Ninja? Thank you very much in advance for your attention.
@CandidClara2 ай бұрын
Hi, apologies for the late reply. Black Friday has meant a lot of comments! I just measured the Cosori and it is about 40cm front to back including the handles and the clearance required for the fender on the back. I'm afraid I can't answer about the Philips as I rehomed it yesterday. Philips has presets, but the others have settings, the only difference is settings means a variation in fan speed AS WELL AS pre-programmed times and temperatures.Pre-programmed times and temperatures are far from essential and only ever there as a guide, I rarely go by what is suggested and pick my own, hope that helps

I must say that I think your reviews are great! Clear commentary on what matters and good visual representations too. I have a 5.5 litre Cosori and have been very pleased with it but I really would like a dual drawer one. I’m torn between the Cosori and the Philips. The 3 litre basket on the Philips looks very small - how useable is it? With the Cosori, I don’t like that it carries on timing even when the drawer is open. I’m also wondering how easy or not it would be to clean the glass fronts on the Cosori?

Apologies if you have already seen it, but I compare the Philips and Cosori on this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4SyiZtmgrOZaNE And as regards the windows, you can’t access the inner side of the glass so you can’t get them perfectly clean (although I have heard of one person who took them apart and I may try that in a video!) The inner basket is 20cm x 21cm. If you take this out, I believe it’s 22cmx23cm. If you take out the inner basket, an 8” square foil container fits fine (available online and from Yorkshire Trading). It will also fit in the inner basket, I think, but may need squishing a bit.

@WorryTooMuch29 күн бұрын
@CandidClara yes, I've seen that. Lakeland have changed some of their items so the 1lb loaf tin won’t fit in this model anymore. The new tin has a lip, so it measures about 22cm long (I was in there recently with a tape measure!). I think the 16cm enamel dish may have changed too, so I don’t think that will fit the small drawer either - I compared it to a foil tray which I know does fit and it is wider. The Lakeland website gives the internal width for this product as 12cm, but it too has a lip. The maximum width for the small drawer is 12cm, so allowing for the lip, it won’t fit.

I bought the Philips 3000 due to the fact the larger basket capacity is hands down the best feature of all. The 23 cm width by 22 cm depth is a game changer So far this air fryer has been magnificent. The only real issue I had was that it was extremely hard to find any of those silicone liners that would fit. Most liners online are sized to fit Ninjas. But I did find ones that are kinda ok, not a perfect fit but they work well.

@@moetbkr6381 yeck, then you buy it. With the Philips I can cook a xtra large full size chicken without the chicken touching any of the basket walls. Can't do that with the Corsari or the Ninja. Moreover, I can cook a full 8 inch chicken pot pie. Yes, the full sized pies. You can only cook those smaller individual pot pies in the others. It’s why Cosori brought out the dual blaze (and now the Twon fry) which should in theory be the best of both worlds, but doesn’t quite live up to promises. You might either have to be less of a perfectionist with pastry (not a criticism, just being frank!!) or do it in a normal oven

Thank you for your reply. I'm just checking to see whether or fries actually can cook pastry at the bottom of a pie for example like a steak and kidney pie. I'm just looking for quick first cooking is I use the oven a lot. I don't think I need a big one as I live on my own anyway. Thank you once again for your videos they are great.

Hi Can you tell me if the 3 air fryers in your presentation are considered non-toxic, please. 😀👍
@CandidClara2 ай бұрын
It depends who is doing the considering. Public health authorities in the Uk (and as far as I know in Europe and the US) consider PTFE safe, they wouldn’t be allowed to sell it if it wasn’t. However some people consider any form of non-stick coating to be bad.
@SeekingTruth20232 ай бұрын
@CandidClara PTFE is different to PFOA right? Did you maybe check which one has no PFOA?

Philips is just a brand name.
@nathanlonghairАй бұрын
“Philips” doesn’t exist in the way you think it does, anymore. They pretty much stopped producing things themselves, and are just licensing the brand out to whoever will pay. So the company that does for example rice cookers and the one that does air fryers or freezers are likely completely different. “Philips” itself exclusively makes healthcare hardware/software for hospitals etc. and shavers and toothbrushes these days. Everything else is just licensed.

I have owned th Ninja foodi max for nearly 2 years. The two things that annoy me is when setting the time if you keep your finger pressed it goes down in 5 minute intervals until 15 minutes then it jumps right down to 1minute, which is a pain as I cook most things for 10 minutes. The other is not being able to reset either timer individually after cooking has started.

Having both the Cosori and the Philips for a while next to each other I actually tend to use the Philips more often, especially because of the bigger basket and ease of use.

Great and very useful comparison… Have You heard about last year(?) COSORI problems with electricity? Poor isolation of cables causing many of their Afryers out of the market ? Which model had these failures? I read somenthing about it in the web looking for “what’s best Ninja or COSORI”..and I’m a bit worried .. Watching You here we really like to buy a COSORI.. We’re new like a green grass , this will be our first air fryer.. We most probably would choose a COSORI double drawers one…
@CandidClara2 ай бұрын
Hi, I'm not sure where you are in the world, but the electrical problems which lead to recalls only effected North American models and not the UK/EU ones

@@CandidClara Hi! Thanks for this clarification. As I'm from EU/Poland its a relief. We just ordered our fisrt AirFryer on Amazon (shoild be here tomorrow ;)) and its COSORI Dual, with two drawers, the one You recomended here . WE've got a Nice price ~145 euros :D I hope everything will be fine.. You think for three or (very soon just two adult persons (kiddos are growing and are just about to fly away to their own new home) - isnt too big? I really liked options where we can make a meat/veggies and potatoes seperately...

Na 2 osoby dorosłe idelane (młodzi wlasnie sie wyprowadzają, więc poza pizzą i dużym ciastem piekarnik klasyczny raczej rzadko bedzie w użytku). Porównanie zużycia prądu przy pieczeniu choćby zwykłych ziemniaczków o burakach nie wspominając.....jest wręcz komiczna, (piekarnik na samo nagrzanie zużywa wielokrotnie więcej)
