When reading up on different Hamilton beach models, they suggest freezing stuff like lettuce with high water content then shred. I've got my eyes on the 8 cup stacksnap model 70820, but worried on the plastic bowl itself. This ninja looks sturdy in assembly but yeah the sealing atop makes it less faster to put on. I'm still looking around for now. Great demos!

Lettuce is not a good item for a processor. Try cabbage next time
