Did this tonight.. I didn't have the steele pan with the lid so I just put the Sling in my Crisper... So like you I coudl lift out... Instead of a lid I put a sheet of Aluminum foil over the top of the Meatloaf and then the potatoes on top of that.. I'm in a higher elevation.. A mountain valley in Southwest Montana... so i increased the time by 5 minutes.. I mixed for my topping, Catsup, Brown Sugar, (a favorite of Elvis), and Dijon mustard.. my favorite.. lol It all turned out amazing.. Thank you for inspiring me...

After you remove the potatoes with the tongs and have hot water on the lid, take a "batch" of paper towels, make a ball out of them and soak of the hot water....that way you will not burn your hands or spill hot water anywhere. Just lift the water soaked paper towels off before they are totally soaked. I love cooking the potatoes at the same time as the meatloaf but NOT using more pans to do it. You GO, Girl!! From a Mother of 7 and a Nona to 20! Thank you!

Great video! But Ninja hasn’t made anything for my new compact 5 qt Foodi, so I’ll have to try your meatloaf in my instant pot. Unless I can get a cake pan that will fit the 5 qt. I never considered pressure cooking a meat loaf before but yours look like the bomb.

Yah they don't have much for the compact 5 qt.-I don't even have one. Does a 6 inch cake pan fit? If one goes on sale. I may pick one up. Thanks BC 12 *. 7!

Thank you for a great video! As a truly newcomer to the FOODI(my cinnamon FOODI is still in the box) I'd like to see how you got the meatloaf out of the first container....did you just turn it upside down and then turn over and into the crisper? I may be the only one but still would like to know :) I learn by seeing/doing... Thanks again looks delicious. love meatloaf.
@pressurecrisp5 жыл бұрын
Thats how I learn as well-show me and I can do it! I used a fork to pick up a side of it then was able to get a spatula underneath it then lifted it out. I plan on making another meatloaf video soon-turkey or just a different recipe using mixed meats-I will definitely make sure I show how I remove the meatloaf. Welcome to the Ninja Foodi world-its really a great small appliance. Thanks for watching! Take Cinnamon out of that box and make something!

First time using my foodi. Followed your directions with one exception... I didn’t have potatoes, so I used the vented stackable pan and put short cut carrots in. 35 minutes for both was not enough time. For either one. Do you think it should take longer with the pans stacked? Hoping it’s not a flaw with my foodi! Thank you
