Louise, I just made the stuffed chicken breasts. Instead of making your sausage stuffing, I made my bread stuffing (used for stuffing a Thanksgiving turkey) made with diced onion & celery sauteed in butter & then simmered in chicken stock with ground sage added. Then I mixed in dried bread cubes until well moistened. I did everything else according to your recipe and they turned out GREAT!!! It was browned beautifully & really tasted good. I did everything in my Ninja Foodi. My husband said this was restaurant quality (good restaurant) food. Thank you again for your wonderful recipes.

I tried this tonight, but for the filling I substituted sautéed mushrooms and seasoned feta. It came out beyond delicious! Thank you so much for this. The recipe is easy and lends itself to endless variations. I am taking to heart your advice about layered seasoning; I never thought about that before.

So this was my first time using the Ninja. I modified ur stuffing recipe using chopped mushrooms, onions and sausage tossed with some thyme. I also used panko rather than fine breadcrumbs for a little more texture. Cooked for 10 minutes on 375 each side. This is now my absolute favorite recipe. Its like Thanksgiving in a crispy chicken. I whipped up a gravy with some mash potatoes....wow! Thank you so much for the inspiration to buy the Ninja but also the tips and recipe! Looking forward to trying many more of your foodspirations!!!

If its air frying why would you need to flip your chicken or any items? I thought it circulated around the food so you wouldn't have to flip it. Just curious? Thx Lisa
@TheSaltedPepper
@TheSaltedPepper 5 жыл бұрын
Lisa Watts it does circle around the food, but I still like to flip it so it gets even browning. I find sometimes the bottom browns more than the top in the basket because of the added heat from the basket. While food on the rack in the high position browns more on top. Hope that helps!

joe wheeler absolutely! That’s what I did, my stuffing was a spinach and feta dip that had been baked. If it’s a dry stuffing, add some moisture, a pat of butter or a bit of cheese. You could stuff them with anything! Ham and cheese would be good or even pizza toppings like a light sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. It’s your food, make it exactly the way you like it! 😁

New fan here - new Ninja Foodi owner. My wife got me one on Black Friday. Total surprise! I've been using a Crock Pot Express for a year now, so looking forward to learning things like your bragging tips here! (I wonder if you have an instant read thermometer yet. I love mine!)

Thank you and congrats on the Ninja Foodi! My husband got me a very nice Instant Read Thermometer for Christmas! I've been using a few others, but this one is super fast!

How do I cook these raw stuffed chicken breast from frozen in the Foodi? I made extra the second time around and put into the freezer uncooked. Did I mess up??
@TheSaltedPepper
@TheSaltedPepper 5 жыл бұрын
I think you are fine. Just cook them at a low temp on bake, maybe 250 or 300 and after they are cooked through bump the heat up to get them crisped up.

Cook at 390 to crisp them??
@TheSaltedPepper
@TheSaltedPepper 5 жыл бұрын
That really depends on their size, you will just have to keep an eye on them and use a thermometer if you have one. I would think at least 30-40 minutes from frozen.
@TheSaltedPepper
@TheSaltedPepper 5 жыл бұрын
That should be fine. Once they are cooked, you can even use the broil to get them crisped up quickly.

Instead the bread flour can I use the coconut or almond flour ?
@TheSaltedPepper

It isn't going to work the same way or taste the same. A better option if you are keto is to use crushed pork rinds.

Do you have a recipe for chicken breast stuff with crab meat?
@TheSaltedPepper
@TheSaltedPepper 5 жыл бұрын
No, but you could do it exactly the same way. Just make up a little crab cake mixture and stuff the chicken like I did in the video. All the times and temps would be the same.

What kinda salt? Pink Sea salt? Plain table salt? Just curious? Looks delicious!
@TheSaltedPepper
@TheSaltedPepper 6 жыл бұрын
Great question! I always use Fine Ground Mediterranean Sea Salt by McCormick, I link to it in the description section. You could use any kind of salt that you like in this recipe. My measurements are for sea salt which is a little coarser than table salt, so if using table salt decrease the amount.

Have you done a video of crack chicken? I hear many people talking about it and i am wanting to see it done. Thank you
@TheSaltedPepper
@TheSaltedPepper 5 жыл бұрын
No, I haven't. I don't usually demonstrate other people's recipes. I have heard of it though. I'll take a look at it and see if I want to create my own version and do a video on it. I think it's pretty simple from what I've heard.

you don't have to throw away those crumbs or eggs, you mix them together and make a frittata with them. you can add some grated parm cheese and garlic powder and just fry or bake it
@TheSaltedPepper
@TheSaltedPepper 5 жыл бұрын
Kathy doubleu I never thought of that, but I guess you could, as long as you bring the temp of the frittata up to 165 to make sure any raw chicken juices are heated properly.
