*I like that I can "fry" something on a whim! An oil fryer takes so much more time to clean and prepare **MyBest.Kitchen** a chore which usually kept me from frying all together. Also, the lack of needing oil to fry means that my family and I are eating healthier... while still enjoying the crispiness of fried foods.*

It’s fine to make pizza directly on the sheet pan, DO NOT place the pan on a lower rack with the pizza on a wire rack above it because that will just block the heat and the pizza won’t cook so evenly. Butter the pan or smear with olive oil for extra flavor and better baking results. Also (on page 14) the instruction manual actually RECOMMENDS either greasing accessories with butter or oil or covering with either parchment paper OR aluminum foil, just do not cover the roast tray.
@LoniD7193 жыл бұрын
Doesn't the book also clearly say not to use anything other than the recommended oils (butter and olive oil are excluded.)

I have one of these and love it but there are some things I found difficult. First I need to know how to use only the top or bottom heaters and the instructions do not really give that kind of information. The fan causes problems with baking some breads because it is always on which results in one side or end of the bread drying out quicker than the other side. I would have really liked to have full details on the various functions. Air frying is the only setting that does not really need any details but I would exactly what the grill function is and how it works. Or roast versus whole roast cooking in real detail. Trial and error works great but is very time-consuming. I am still learning how to get my bread bake better. The video was well-made and very informative and I would really like to see a follow-up after he has used it for a year or more.

Philip - Great video! I have a few questions and comments: Background: I have a 15 year old Aroma brand toaster oven that still works, it’s large and can be noisy when heating up but still performs well and gets almost daily use. However one day it will quit so I am doing research now and know I would like the air-fry and dehydration functions (although let’s face it, air-frying is just high heat with a strong convection!) We recently got a Ninja Foodi blender (the “Power Pitcher system with the “smoothie bowl” attachment) and I have to say how impressed we are so far. Well built, performs amazing and came with everything you need and great instructions - They have that down! BTW: My Aroma is 13 inches wide inside so being this is an inch wider it should accommodate some casserole dishes and the like depending on dishes side handles. My questions: Do you work for Ninja or did they just provide you with this oven and suggest what to cook in it? Are you concerned with having the controls on the handle of the door, being that the handle will rest on your counter when you open it I wonder if they could get damaged after daily use? Did the temp probe you used for the prime rib (looked so good...) come with the oven and if so, does it connect to the controls? I have plenty of probes I use on my smoker but just wondering....? And thank you!

I have done this with many fried things bought from the store and it doe amazing!!! I love to air fry to reheat and it come out so damn crispy!

@@PhilipLemoine I heard of a story in which someone bought fried chicken from a Shoprite supermarket, but when they went to reheat the chicken in the oven, the oil from the chicken began to smoke very badly with a pool of oil at the bottom of the oven. Even when that bottom pieces was removed and the oven cleaned thoroughly, spots of oil surfaced on or around the heat bars, which caused the oven to smoke up badly again when the person tried to toast two slices of bread. This is why I wanted to know if, since you are testing this machine, if you could perform the same task and report on it with honest feedback from your testing this oven.
