The gap you need between attacks and the “targeting” Or whatever has been hit or miss since NG2’s OG release. I love the OT but sometimes it’s really annoying to stop and really target an enemy and Ryu still has moments he misses

Sometimes the OT won't even come out. On the first chapter boss on normal mode I just straight up ran towards him at the end while mashing Y and he didn't even do the OT. Never had that issue in the original or Sigma 2. Sigma 2 had some unresponsive moments, but Black 2 has tons and tons.

@@BonzerMrT Nah it wasn't a hit or miss in the original NG2. Never had any issue doing an OT whenever I wanted. Failed maybe once every few hundred kills. And while the UT's would cut off sometimes, it was pretty rare. A bit less rare in Sigma 2, but still pretty consistent. Here in Black 2 it's just awful. I feel like it's because there's a lot of copypasta from Sigma in the code and the targeting system changed slightly in the process (perhaps due to how UE5 handles it). Would be nice if they patched it and fixed it, it's a pretty major issue, IMO.

- there is no proper NG+ mode, both NG+ modes from the original were removed, but there is a chapter select where the game gives u all max weapons and ninpo, but not max health or ki, depending on the stage u pick... so no, no traditional NG+. only chapter select. - crystal skulls reduce shop prices. u dont get anything for getting them all, just shop discounts - u can play ranked in chapter challenge, basically just kill all guys and do lots of UTs, super easy to get those rankings.

I think the amount of whiffs of the UT's that require specific hits to hit in the 360 version is the least of all, then followed by the Sigma version and in Black 2 it's pretty damn extreme. I've had it myself tons as well. I feel like the auto-targeting system when trying to attack enemies in Black 2 is the worst as well. It's partly showcased in these whiffs, but in the Momiji dual Tengu battle it was really noticeable for me. A good move to hit them with is forward + XXY, but she just misses a lot. Even when you manually press in a right direction she attacks right next to it. And her double jump to charge Y attack is awful as well for regular enemies. Seems to only have a good hit about 10% of the time (which is a pain since it's basically the only move she has where she's relatively safe with those gun soldiers unleashing their machine gun constantly on mentor). They really should've polished her move set since it's pretty tiny to begin with (same for the other girls to be honest. And really they probably also should've added a 2nd UT for every single weapon so that they all have a regular UT and a 360 UT).

Hey I just noticed it too. All of the combos that start with forward seem to miss more often than in vanilla, especially the Momiji combos in that battle. I haven't played Sigma enough to remember if that happened as well, I'm assuming yes, since this game is essentially the same as Sigma minus some tweaks.

@@gamble777888 Pretty sure it didn't happen in Sigma 2. I remember having next to no trouble with Mentor in that game, but I have a lot of trouble with Mentor here because the controls are less responsive and the auto-targeting is worse. I suspected it was worse at first but still could've been user error, but when I look at the fact that certain UT's whiff a lot now I can only conclude that my suspicions are most likely right. You can't really attribute automatic combos to potential user error.

At least on vanilla NG2 They deal more damage and have a little bit or hp, it's really noticeable on MN when red gajas can take 80% of your hp with a tail swipe or Golden vangelfs oneshot You with their jump Attack, some valor tests change their enemy layout, there are parts that have on the Game that on mentor have soldiers but on MN they have white archers with aimbot

Are enemies less tanky than in sigma 2?(I heard such things). Thanks for your warming, (I saw your twitch stream the day NG Sigma 2 Blacked released) I'll never buy this "remaster". I like base Sigma 2 from MC (I only played MC games, I want to play OG NG2, I'm just too lazy to install emulator), but why buying almost same game for such high price? Thanks for adding adequate weapon upgrading, but that's still not enough for 50$, + destoyed visuals with horrible visibility+ bad performance, while MC costs 40$ and all games run at 4K 60fps all the time on gtx 1050ti. IMO even if it was actual remaster of OG NG2 it's not worthy 50$, but that at least had make sense. Sucks, that barely anyone talks about that situation, the only 2 videos together didn't got even 50K views + got some hate comments(while I think it should be Warcraft 3:Reforged-level scandal). GG Farnham!

@@CrooKdLetterJ It's literally a modified version of Sigma 2 (the game is running under the UE5 skin, been confirmed by modders). These are the changes that they made from Sigma 2: -Manual weapon upgrade system (like it was in the OG). -Changes to like 10% of the spawns (maybe less, I've only looked at a few chapters). These spawns either get some slightly remixed enemy combinations or more enemy waves compared to Sigma. -Some enemy grabs deal less damage. These used to one shot you on Master Ninja, now they do regular damage. -Some of the tankier enemies (like IS Ninjas and Black Van Gelfs) are easier to delimb now, but have the same amount of health. Didn't check all of these but it seems that the Fiend IS Ninjas are the same for example. That's it. This release is also missing a ton of content, including modes, costumes, and bosses. Maybe the changes mentioned above are enough to justify the purchase for some people, because this IS the best version of Sigma 2 all things considered, but not by much and not considering that for the same price you can get Sigma 2 plus Sigma 1 and 3 Razor's Edge.
