Yes, and the subject matter is dark. Ninja Gaiden 1's soundtrack also gave me the willies for awhile (World 4-3, for example. This track sounded like a scarier version of the Twilight Zone theme). The opening notes to the scene with Foster also were extremely creepy.

when you get to 37:15 on jaquio's part, it isn't really the jaquio talking in the story line. its actually the demon (the final boss from the first ninja gaiden) talking through jaquio. jaquio was already long dead since from the first ninja gaiden. ashtar was merely the pawn. when he says "the spirit released after our battle flowed into my body" it means that the demon possesed jaquio's dead body. that's why the final boss is a full reincarnated demon just to show you.
@rang3r3410 жыл бұрын
Whoa!!! Did not know that. That part I didn't understand fully. Makes the story even darker and more awesome!!!
@JoshDragon189 жыл бұрын
cazadoresmichoacano1 Wow, that makes complete sense. I always wondered how Jaquio had survived the first fight with Ryu. Jaquio's appearance is noticeably more demonic in this game.
@SaebaRyo213 жыл бұрын
It does sound valid. And even Demon has possessed Jaquio's body he can read all of his memories (included the memory of Ryu) that's why he said something like this "Fight Ryu Hayabusa, the last of your clan..." It means the Demon who possessed Jaquio knew that Ryu is the last descendent of his clan, and if you notice the Background of the last stage, you will see the small miniatures of demon statues (teal in color) and also the last two forms of Jaquio looks very similar to the statue of demon...

Nah, it still has cheap deaths, but the bounce back actually works to your favor 50% of the time in this game given how differently its programmed from the first game. Also, you don't have to go back to 7-1 if you fail at one of the final bosses. Not to mention the control's faster than in the first game.

I didn't realize I actually owned this game until recently. I tried it out and I had major trouble getting past the second level. lol. The game is really well designed but that hit detection though... I was getting really frustrated that my sword would go through enemies without harming them. Its like you have to hit them at just the right angle. Same with the power tokens. I see my sword hitting it, but its like "swish" nothing. lol. After I finally beat the boss on that level, I quit.... But I have to admit... I'm getting the itch to try again. Now that's a game that calls you to action no matter how many times it hands your ass to you. You played this like a pro. I played it like I was blind folded. lol. Thanks for posting the vid. Helps a ton!

I love Ninja Gaiden 2 as well but honestly after years of playing this and watching the play through again, I have to say that Ninja Gaiden 1 had the best story. The story in part 2 isn’t written very well. You can tell they were just trying to cash in off the success of the first game. This one did well too but the first one was the best. Even the music is far better on the first game.

45:50 That's an old game. I think that game was better than all the other Ninja Gaiden. Just think the sort of chaos came back. If someone found it sword. That was destroyed in many pieces. They can actually put back the sword together. And repair it. Then the sword of chaos will probably have its revenge. I consider it still down there left unknown.🤔

Pretty impressive finishing this one without dying. I always seem to have to go thru that last level a few times before I can beat all 3 final bosses. While I feel this NG is the easiest, it is by far not an easy game. The ninja shadows make the game a ton easier than 1 or 3. I still feel 3 is by far the most difficult, likely because of the limited continues and the unforgiving starting spots after dying.

I got all the way up to the first level of Jaquio. And died. I STILL fucking hate this game. I don't mean to sound racist, but I can see why the Japanese killed themselves so much back in the day. They literally created things that will make us want to kill ourselves. See what happens when you think too hard? All that intelligence into these games, which are SUPPOSED to be fun, and all we got was torment. I am 35...39 NOW... and STILL waiting for the day to beat this game and Altered Beast. I'm so mad right now from watching this gameplay.
