Maybe a little too late, but, to face bersekers remember 2 things: first, ALWAYS let your camera show ONLY the berseker you're facing, so the others doesn't blast you away, second, learn their moveset (Kitetsu helps a lot btw), and watch out for that "berseker multi charge"

And talking about being late, when they charge, evade a little slower than you would do with a normal attack, that way you won't get hit.

To be even later, using the counter attack against the Berserkers with the Lunar is a very easy and safe way of killing them. You can counter the first slash of their strings. Still, be careful of their ultimate rush attack that they use when they zerk out.

Thanks :) The green band is the armlet of celerity equivalent you get on Ninja Dog mode in chapter 5. The bands only appear in that mode.

I need your help. Really struggling with the MN archive challenge. Watched a bunch of videos on you tube, looks simple enough, lots of blockrolling, roll jump with on landing UTs, yeah, sure, no problem. But then i try it, and as soon as try to block, they guard break, then hit me with a incindiary shuriken. As soon as block roll, the cats swipe me, and as soon i roll jump they swallow me right out of the air. Its infuriatingly frustrating, i can’t seem to figure out what you guys are doing different in your videos that make it look so easy.

It sounds like you're focusing too much on what you're doing rather than watching what the ninjas and cats are doing. Take some time to really study their animations so you know exactly what their move is going to be. For example if a ninja begins to his left arm away from his chest he is getting ready to throw an incendiary at you so immediately take note of what the other ninja and/or cat fiend is doing. If the cat fiend is airborne then do not jump as you are more likely to get FS out the air. In this kind of situation you need to roll or just block the shuriken. The cats in particular are the main thing to focus on as they alone can take you out in a second but their attacks also have the biggest opportunity for exploits. For example their swipe attack can be counter attacked and their lunge can be be stuff on start up. If you land a counter then don't always go into a follow up, sometimes it's better to take advantage of the time that gives you as it temporarily takes one enemy out of the equation. Helm splitter is also a very under rated move for the most part (nuetral in-air Y with the DS), sometimes you can cut your air combos short and come down with HS and due to its hitbox you will ground more than one enemy which sets you up perfectlt to either re-launch them or stagger your essence better for UT chaining. If you're using the flails or lunar then keep in mind their defence is significantly lower than that of the Dragon Sword which means the cats will guard crush you a lot more often and chip away at your health. Lastly don't forget about smoke bombs if you aren't using them already, they are very useful in slowing down the pace of that fight to allow you to take out an enemy strategically and get out of a bad spot. Definitely helpful advice, the process is much clearer now, i had time for just one try after reading and got to 67 dead instead of just 15 or so. Tonight im gonna really give it a solid go. One other question, is there secret to counter attacks that im just not getting? I just can’t seem to get the timing right? I always try to hit the button at the same time the attack hits, and it works maybe 1 out of 10 times. Whats the ideal timing? Same time, just before, just after? What am i missing?

You want to press the button as soon as you hear the "ping" of their attack hitting your weapon. There is also a ripple effect that comes off your guard too and if that is visible you can counter attack as well if the audio cue isn't doing it for you. I prefer the audio cue myself but the ripple effect is very distinctive which may make it easier.

Ninja Dog difficulty for one thing and if you're referring to the low health UF clips you gain a massive damage boost with that weapon when your health bar pulses red.

@@nacionfelina1330 No te creo lo del master, tal vez estas jugando con muy poco conocimiento de las mecanicas del juego, especialmente con lo de las flechas en serio has llegado hasta esa zona? Bueno, girar el stick y luego mantener presionado Y por un momento te permite el ataque giratorio sin escencia que hace mucho daño, lo puedes leer en los combos de muchas armas. Las flechas... existen otras que penetran a los vehiculos que existen ademas de la explosivas, no entiendo como te las puedes perder, tal vez en tu version no las tienes...

@@nacionfelina1330 Estas pendejo con lo del tanque, las flechas antiblindaje son las mejores contra el tanque porque le hacen mas daño a pesar de no matar al hombre de la torreta, pero como esta en ninja dog el tanque no tiene torretas. Con alma, hay una habitación anterior en la que matas varios ninja y si no recoges la esencia la puedes utilizar con el BOSS. Yo SI he pasado el juego en master, yo también se de lo que hablo
