I'm not sure if you're preloading the clutch or not but stage in the first bulb and then set your rpms while preloading the clutch and then inch up with your feet till the second bulb comes on and then she's ready to leave smoothly

Just a little more seat time and you should get sub 9s. My ZX14, with less hp, ran a best 9.028 @155mph. That was stock length, just lowered and strapped. You will get her. Nice bike!

Get rid of those stupid mirrors, sold mine, and have bar ends instead, affects your drag times too. Charger temps went from 80F to 170F in less than 1/4 mile with my bike.
