A hob is a surface on top of a stove which would include the burners/cooking elements. The oven is called an oven 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

In Ireland an oven is an oven, the hob is the top of the cooker - the rings you’d put a pot/pan onto. We also have ranges in older houses. They use solid fuel like coal/turf some use oil or gas. They’ve an area on top for pots and pans and they’ve an oven too. Great video. Helped me decide on whether or not to get one of these.

I live in Tampa in the States. But I am blessed to have many friends in St Catherine's, Toronto, Etobicoke, Missasausaga, Montreal, Ottawa etc.! Try the fryer for steaming vegetables next time. That is really how the basket should be used. Great job, guys!

Mark with a K here from the UK. We call them: Oven is the inside part with the door on. The top part you put the pans on is the hob. We call it a grill rather than a broiler. We all know what you mean though :)

I got the 16 piece Ninja Neverstick cookware 2 years ago, 3 of the pans are starting to degrade and one of them the nonstick coating completely lifted of the pan after trying to heat oil for French fries. Will NOT repurchase.
