Thawng Hmung he isn’t I used to watch him back before fortnite. That’s why I support Ninja so much. Obzorb Tropic I have watched him for a while too, but honestly seeing how he’s changed through fortnite, I’m not sure if I can respect him the same anymore. He’s 100% changed himself for his younger viewers, and that’s probably not a good thing for him. It’s like he lost himself in the fortnite hype train, and is a completely different person now. As for his perspectives on fortnite, I think it’s fine having an opinion, but the way ninja sees it, his POV is fact and no one can argue with him. There’s even a clip of him telling chat to stfu because he was complaining about aim assist to them and they were arguing back. I don’t know what to think of the man anymore. I respect how he made himself, and the hustle he did, but I’m not sure if I can respect him as a person anymore.

or maybe because people make a living off this game? competitive play is MASSIVE, its what the game nowadays is based around, and getting triple headshot out of the air while taking a pad is absolutely ridiculous. peaking a controller player while they arent even looking at you, or aiming at you, then you get yet again triple headshot. thats why everybody complains. keyboard players have first shot accuracy, thats about it. after the first shot youre aiming at something completely different from recoil. think about it. and scroll wheel reset isnt even that op, it has 0 competitive advantage. controller players can be smart and use a triple reset bind which is LITERALLY equally as fast, if you press all three at the same time. also, you don’t hear people saying “im feeling scroll wheel reset in my bones!” but you do hear one of the best players on fortnite saying “im feeling aim assist in my bones!” along with SO many other people. hopefully this helps all controller players understand where us keyboard players are coming from. i personally am not one to complain about it but i totally understand.

Personally, I play controller on pc, and there are many reasons that aim assist should not be taken out of the game and has its place. First off, the reason epic added aim assist in the first place was to level the playing field. If aim assist was not in the game, then there would be no competition between the two inputs (and I know that ninja does not want aim assist completely removed). There are many things that mouse and keyboard players can do, that controller players can not do. Keyboard and mouse players can flick shot way better than a controller play ever could. If you have ever seen people like Serpent AU, you know that the sheer speed and precision that he can get with his flicks can never be matched by a controller player. The next thing that mouse and keyboard players can do that controller players never could do as fast is editing. Take a player like Raider464, who can edit way faster than a controller player. Lastly, keyboard and mouse players have way better awareness because of the amount of mouse pad that they have. They can move there character a full 360 degrees with a quick flick of their mouse. For these reasons, it is safe to say that keyboard and mouse players have a significant advantage when it comes to flick shots, editing, and just general awareness. This is why aim assist should be in the game (to level the playing field). But the real question is: does aim assist do more than level the playing field? Does it grant controller players an unfair advantage? To answer this question, we can look at how controller players are doing compared to keyboard and mouse players in competitive play. When looking at how the two platforms compare, controller players do not dominate the competitive field. There are many pros on keyboard and mouse that are doing well. If you were to say that controller players don't have to work as hard to be good, you would be very mistaken. Controller players put in just the same grind as keyboard and mouse players. And it is not like controller players were suddenly good when they started playing Fortnite because of aim assist. Pro controller players come from a background of gaming, ever since they were young. So for these reasons, I would say that aim assist does not grants controller players an unfair advantage. The last thing I would like to point out is that there would be a lot of backlash from controller players if epic were to remove or nerf aim assist. Fortnite would lose a lot of popularity because controller players would stop playing the game. So I would say that aim assist definitely has its rightful place in Fortnite.
