One idea i thought of months ago is at some point they should do a time travel story where the original Turtles from their timeline help the future turtle's in some event. So youd have the original OG turtles and the newer turtles workinf together like think something like the animated universe od TAS with Batman Beyond and old bruce meeting younger Batman bruce somethibg like that. 😎

Idw turtles renewal theories and names for the theories: Ronin Renewal theory-The renewal will lead to The last ronin timeline, maybe the Idw turtles will reincarnate into the new TMNT, or they can't prevent their deaths, so we follow the new TMNT (though in The last ronin, why didn't they reincarnate?) Reused Timeline theory-The renewal will lead to an alternate timeline we saw, maybe one of neutral ones, and it will expand how we got there. New established timeline theory-The renewal will show us the new main timeline we are following and will explain it Out with the old, in with the new theory-The timeline is too messed up. TMNT and co have to make a new timeline, or they try to fix the timeline, but a new one is made or *reset *same for all theories The Future changing the past theory (I was going to make back to the Future reference, but I'm worried it won't work) -Their future selves make a new timeline (maybe with their younger selves?) Altered by the alternative theory-One of their alternative selves changes the timeline April renewal theory (Lame name but IDK what else to call it)-April (Present and/or future version) changes the future New character syndrome theory (I know it's not good to explain a joke, but I will just in case. The joke is that the character being new, the writer made them change the timeline to put importunity on them)-One of the new characters changes the timeline (EG Venus) Time wrap theory- Renet goes against time rules and changes the timeline, though it also could be an accident. Donna snaps theory-Present Donnie remakes the timeline, even if others disagree Harold has had enough theory-Harold changes fate In Casey theory-(Sorry for so many “this character changes the timeline” theories but what you do, also I doubt this one, but it is possible) Casey Jones redoes the timeline Whoops, broke the timeline again theory-The timelines are too much, so it resets itself I wasn't sure whither to put this in 3 or 2,so ill put it here, Let's get a god to fix our shit theory- a powerful character who can alter time restructures the story Sometimes, the bad guys do win theory-Armageddon and/or Bob wins and that causes the timeline to happen Odyssey theory/Odyssey renewal theory-This one is crazy, but it might happen, they based the renewal on TMNT odyssey. Future Donnie or someone else is using Armageddon to destroy and/or reset the timeline to make a new timeline/universe, which is ironic considering what happened, spoilers will be put below the theories: What was the point of killing them than theory-Someone kills the original TMNT (when they were in ancient Japan) but something happens, so they still exist some other way (like the OG are dead, but the new ones are there), though someone could kill their current selves and the same thing I suggested could happen there Sonic 06 theory (Again not the most creative but it works well)-They pull a Sonic 06 where everyone loses their memories, so it hasn't changed per se, but it will Old turtle den theory-Like you said, the turtles could care for their alternative selves in the shadows, and we follow the New TMNT Being the new you, literally-The old TMNT could become the new ones somehow Time loop/OMG, it's all a time loop theory-This could all be a time loop, this one is crazy, but maybe the timelines are a time loop or multiple time loops because the turtles keep trying to change their timelines. So they keep going back to changing their time, if that makes sense. Spiritual reset/successor theory-There is no story reset, it's a spiritual reset where every happened but the characters and feel of the story changes instead Any of these theories can be put together as long as they don't contradict each other, others probably though of this too, just like anyone I'm trying to figure this out, hope this helps. In Odyssey, Idw is the universe/timeline Mikey made, so the brothers would be together. Mikey gets killed by Raph because Mikey used the creature of creation to try to destroy them to recreate them in this new universe, I think. Anyways, too much damage has been done, but the remaining turtles save the remaining universes, Leo became a time lord and the whole story was a meta metaphor for Peter and Kevin's relationship. It shows them making up at the end because they had a rocky friendship but made up in real life, IDK where their relationship is now.

The Prelude comic looks very interesting. I haven't been able to keep up with the comics and stuff so I don't know how he is in there but it's a breath of fresh air to finally see Donatello getting some major screen time and arcs. In many different media he always gets the shaft, TV episodes, movies, and the like. In my opinion I think he paid his dues and deserves major arcs where he is the center focus and is the hero for once. Instead of bad things happening to him, like him being beaten to death. Although it is disappointing that the he's going to be last in the new comic line as the 4th issue. Still, having him be the focus of the prelude is a refreshing change of pace.

Im pessimistic about idw tmnt, i kept it in my pull list hoping that any of the threads would pay off. I didn't hate the slice of life but it felt like it should of been an additional series because since issue 90 its just to many characters and no payoff for mutant town . I don't know if im willing to give any more chances to viacom tmnt.

As long as they get rid of Jennika, I'm all for the reboot. I have no hope for that new cartoon, much like there was no hope for the movie it's based on. Both were made by people who knew nothing about the Turtles and treat the IP in the same way Disney treats Star Wars. The fact that the 2012 series seems to be the last cartoon that was made by people that actually cared about and are fans of the Turtles is just sad. The TMNT x Transformers set is definitely something I'm going to have to get and put next to the Ghosbusters x Transformers Ecto-1. Although I feel like each Turtle could have been a different vehicle instead of all of them being the Turtle Van. Raph could have been his Shell Cycle, Donnie could have been the Turtle Blimp. Not real sure what Mikey could have been since Leo could stay as the Turtle Van.

While that may be your opinion, Mutant Mayhem and even Rise both have their fans. Mutant Mayhem in particular a lot of people, myself included, would say is the best TMNT movie since the original.
