Ninjago Hands of Time but it's just the Hands of Time

Love the Time Twins but hate that you have to sort through a season of stinky non-Time Twins ninja moments to get to the good stuff? Never fear, for now you can have all the moments with the best boys with no pesky ninja to get in your way. Hands of Time is named that way for a reason after all, right?
Also, sorry about the subtitles, or if the quality is wonky at all. The footage I got was from a video from Lego that happened to have them (and then having the subtitles was honestly really helpful for editing). I'm not too good at getting or editing footage, but this video just had to exist and no one else seemed to be doing it. So hopefully it's good enough to satisfy all the Krux and Acronix fans out there. ^^

This has even crazier implications from the lore set up in season 12. Click "read more" if you want the specifics, but I must warn you, there's _math._ Prime Empire tells us that Milton Dyer created the Prime Empire video game 30 years before the events of the season. The implications this has are... Well, let's put it like this: A year gets its number from how many years post-Serpentine War it is. Hands of Time happened in 40 PSW, a few years probably pass in between seasons, so let's say Prime Empire happens in 43 PSW. This means that, if the game was was created 30 years before the events of its season, it was created 13 PSW. Which means that Acronix vanished less than 13 years before the invention of arcade games. Acronix doesn't know what a calculator, a TV, or even a coffee maker is. And just 13 years after his time, arcade machines are a widespread thing. That's freakin crazy. going by the timeline of technological advancements in real world, Ninjago jumped from the 1840s to the 1970s, so 130 years worth of advancements, in the span of less than 13 years.

I agree. When it comes to fights in ninjago I've noticed 3 types. 1. Interesting setting, when the surroundings play huge role and fighters have to adapt, be more creative, than strong physically ( tournament of elements had many battles based on this aspect, it was great) 2. Puch and block! I agree the classic seasons 1-7 had amazing fight coriography, but many of the new ones have amazing animation to really show the intensity of the battles that take place. An example is Cole vs Vangelis in the season 13 finale. Another perfect example is one of the newest episodes of Crystalized which had possibly the best fighting animation, coriography and setting in the franchise

i read that the reason they turned was master chen's final middle finger to the elemental alliance. basically he manipulated them (probably with clouse's magic and his savy) to betray them and chen and clouse told krux about the vermillion eggs (great devourer babies). cause they think time is the superior element and they have the right to rule (only chen can put that idea in their heads). overall its chen's fault. they could've invaluable allies. edit: chen manipulating them was a scrapped concept(executives didnt like chen concept) and they betrayed the alliance willingly.

one thing ive noticed with krux and acronix before their powers were taken is probably their big weakness: they can only manipulate time so long as they are not holding something. at least one hand must be free for their powers to work. 11:15 acronix right hand is free to use and he let go of his bamboo staff to do so. 11:28 acronix left hand is free 12:07 both of krux hands are empty and free 12:23 krux left hand is free. i dont know if its an official weakness but that seemsto be their weakness as elemental masters

That's a neat observation! Makes me think, if that's true that meant the Time Twins were planning on going easy on the Elemental Alliance (then again when I think about it it's already canon that they don't use their powers the whole time that fight). It also means Wu and Garamdon seriously shot themselves in the foot by breaking their swords and basically forcing them to use their time powers.

For me just the fact _time_ is considered an element was so triggering that it was hard to enjoy the rest of story Also, there are so many surreal stuff for me in this season: Krux somehow surviving 40 years as museum director, the Vermillion made from the Great Devourer's eggs (like, how? How tf he had those?), the whole egg farm so close to ninjago that NO ONE NOTICES, the chronosteel, the plot with Kai & Nya's parents that somehow lost to old man with no powers, the fact they had a time machine and used it in the most pitiful way, the Samurai X 2.0 plot that isn't even solved in this season but in season 8... So yeah there was a lot of questionable things in that season

Personally for me, I never thought Hands of Time was an awful season, I thought it was average. I did enjoy the concept of the Time Twins and the elemental power of Time, but what I didn’t like about season 7 was that it filled to brim with filler. And it’s not like other Ninjago seasons where there’s filler but entertaining. Season 7’s filler dragged on so much, coupled with possible the worst army in the entire series, the vermillion warriors, it just made Hands of Time barely enjoyable.

I like how Krux/Dr. Saunders is the tactician twin, and Acronix the technician twin. They blend together very well despite their personal preferences. Edit: 3 mins was a good reason for Krux being older. A bit of a hot take, but the Hands of Time were my personal favorite villains. For one, they wielded easily one of the deadliest elemental powers in the entire series, being time. Along with that, they work well both individually and as a pair as both fighters and planners. Along with that, they are the first villains in the series to have a grudge against Garmadon as much as Wu. Finally, the season they were introduced in was the first and only example of a season having 2 focus ninjas (Though Kai had arguably more spotlight than Nya) I am still mad that we are sorely missing a 2v2 between the Hands of Time and the Smith siblings going all out as well as a potential 2v1 with Kai in his Dragon Form battling the Hands of Time

I think it would definitely be two headed, if nothing else since both Time Twins would have to make it together. I like to think the dragon would act like the brothers, too, like one head would be really energetic like Acronix and would constantly get on the grumpy Past-Dragon-Head's nerves a lot, haha. Maybe it could be the color of their time powers (red and orange on the past side of the dragon and blue and green on the future side), although that might be a really crowded design. Either way though it would totally be a cool looking dragon.

Fans didn’t quite like this season because it delayed the main plot in favour of some much less important side stories dragged out to the point where they weren’t interesting anymore *cough cough Samurai X and Kai and Nya’s parents cough cough* and because they made pretty much every protagonist, especially Lloyd, bitch and moan like 3 year old toddlers. Not saying this season wasn’t good, the time twins are interesting and compelling antagonists, the vermillion are a good idea, and the season beginning and ending are extremely strong and much more, but these problems severely dragged the seasons overall appeal.

I don't think they can they can only really pass their elemental powers willingly if they had them to begin with, the timeblades essentially blocked their powers inside them the power can't really pass on unless the timeblades are broken otherwise they would've found a new elemental master

@@TheVoicesinyourHead-4life ok. Kinda late and this is just a theory but: Wu came back to the timeline; they could've done the same; but most importantly, their powers can't be erased. When the og ninjas lost their powers and the golden weapons, they came back because apparently, elemental power can't be erased nor destroyed. So, the ff, sm and pause time blades couldn't have been destroyed and I really doubt Acronix and Krux would just die in the time vortex, when they already survived to it (at least Acronix). Also, we still have the reversal time blade
