Disclaimer: I’m gonna rant for a bit about how the new ninja are really terrible. I may be wrong about a few things; its been a few months since I watched this season. So when Nya disappeared and became a water spirit the ninja didn’t disband, but they kind of took a break. Which they definitely deserved because one of their best friends/sister/Yang hadn’t died, but disappeared and they had no way of knowing where she was, if she was alive, or if she was ever gonna come back. So they were all mourning her like she had passed away. Ninjago has many different villains and the city needs a group of protectors (that aren’t just the police because they aren’t equipped to fight those threats like the ninja are). So a group of unknown individuals formed a new team that was like the ninja in order to provide a defense. There’s nothing wrong with that, and their help is appreciated. But they are SEVERELY designed to be a “replacement” of the ninja. They call themselves the new ninja, they have modern versions of the old ninjas outfits and weapons, and they copied the names that they are called (ex: the yellow ninja). They’re also shown several times to act like they’re better than the ninja because they’re “more organized” and “more active”. They also shown saying something along the lines of “your help is appreciated but we don’t need it, you old timers can go home”. Which was REALLY disrespectful considering that the old ninja had protected ninjago time and time again, and that none of them had been seen in Ninjago recently. The new ninjas could’ve either accepted their help and worked together, or said “we’re very happy that you want to make a comeback and help, but we’ve got this one under control. We understand what’s happening the best, but the next crime that happens can be yours to handle, or we can work together”. So essentially the new ninja created their team when the old ninja were basically mourning the death of a best friend. They made it look like they were the newer, more modern version of the old ninja and that the era of the old ninjas is over, and they should be the center of attention. Basically saying that they weren’t a solution to the lack of crime fighters, but a replacement of the ninja who were likely just taking a break. Not only that they’re very disrespectful towards the old ninja and have massive egos. I think that people figured this stuff out on their own, but I just needed to rant. Hopefully the old and new ninja can work together (and the new ninja get a redesign that doesn’t look like a copy and replace) on future missions. Maybe the new ninja focus on crime within Ninjago city while the old ninja do what they do best: fight the BBEGs of Ninjago who have powers. I’d also like to imagine that they might be closer to the ages of the old ninja when they were first starting out (14-15) since they have similar behavior to them in the first season, just a bit more organized. And ofc none of this matters because the old ninja solo the new ninja any day of the week, but they need a serious reality check. (Sorry that this was long, I hope you guys can understand it)

Plus I’m not saying that they look exactly like the ninja, but their outfits hold a lot of similarities to the OGs outfits, and they definitely could’ve come up with something else that wasn’t so similar. Plus they’re really egotistical and generally act like they’re the replacement for the ninja.

It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, and despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, and fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. The flavor, music, and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life-changing.
