I've seen through the trick he has been doing. Whenever it's getting close to the point of losing attention, he will say things like 'Here comes the MOST INTERESTING part.''This is EXCITING.' The contents following such phrases are actually not interesting at all, but he talks like this so that he can cheer me up and make me continue to listen. And I made it for another half an hour. Of course, we cannot rule out the posibility that he does appreciate the beauty of biochemistry and find it interesting.

I've watched this video at least 10 times now. I've taken notes. I'll probably watch it 10+ times more. I've paused and backed up. I've left the video paused for minutes at a time to think and compare to my biochem reference. NONE of this would have been possible, or as effective, as a traditional classroom setting. Your help has been invaluable. Thanks for all you do brutha. 🤜🤛

I had to pause the video midway to write this.. I don't easily give up on professors but that guy has been with us since last semester. He sucks at teaching in every way. His slides are painful to look at, his voiceover is low quality and it doesn't help that his tone is naturally very sleepy. Even offline his face was bored and he crammed three lectures into one and was extremely unhelpful. I kept telling myself that perhaps the content itself is boring and there's no better way to study it, but my friend told me that you explained it really well. I knew you were awesome but I didn't imagine that this particular topic could be transformed to from something so boring to something so easy to grasp that I can actually start to be a little fascinated by it! Thank you so much, truly.

Please let me know if this is a correct way to think about PDH kinase and PDH phosphatase: I like to imagine that they are like the brake and gas pedal in a car. In this case, PDH kinase functions like a break: if you apply more pressure on the brake (you stimulate it) ==> the car will slow down. If you take your foot off the break ==> the car will speed up. On the other hand, PDH phosphatase functions like a gas pedal. In this case, it's pretty straight-forward: stimulate it and the car will go faster; take your foot off (=inhibit it) and the car will slow down
