@@NeanderMeander I have a couple game boys a 3ds and Wii U GameCube n64 . I just don’t have many games for each system. My favorite is n64 and GameCube. I love both.

I had bought my niece her first handheld which was the 2ds because she was still too young to view the 3d feature the 3ds offered. And after a year she proved to me that she still took very good care of her 2ds and was always playing super smash bros on it. Later I got her the Nintendo switch and now she is going on 2 years with it ^^ the 2ds is such a good handheld and was perfect for my niece. I love this video and keep up the awesome work! Looking forward to the next video you upload! 😊

Thank you so much! That's great she takes such good care of her consoles. The 2DS was severely underrated during it's run. I judged it when it first launched. When I finally bought one, I was surprised at how well it was designed.

This console is been around my life over 2 years, and even that I have the Nintendo Switch I play even more my hacked 2DS. Best console ever 💚💜🖤

Using these videos to cope while waiting for mine to ship to me. I have a strong infatuation with crystal shell electronics. So beautiful! Glad to have a replacement to my current 3ds which is pretty much 1.9 feet in the grave

In 2017, I bought 2 for my kids at the same time and they were CA$100, one with NSMB2 and one with MK7. But my son spilled grape juice on his... And then he broke the circular pad on the other one. So first things first, I bought a New 2DS XL for myself and I transfered both built-in games into the new system, along with all the stuff I got digitally. But recently, after watching people restoring damaged consoles, I felt more confident and I gave the pad a go, transfering the still working one from the non-working console into the still working one. Worked like a charm! So now it still stands an important place in my collection, although it only serves as a cartridge-only console... So I can play my digital games while my kids play their physical ones. Good compromise imho 😌😌

Actually, I like the simplistic design and that red transparent case is super. The 3d stick is cool as well. Super Mario Brothers is a great platformer.

Thank you for the review. I was never really interested in getting a 2DS mostly because of the design. I will say though, that Crystal coloring looks really nice on it.

I don't use mine as my primary 3DS system, but they are great little handhelds. The crystal colors look really good in person.

I'm really between this guy and the new 3ds! I love the clamshell design but with my country having a not so well economy right now the 2ds looks like a better/cheaper option but i can't decide it.

They are both great and play most of the same games. There are only a few that can only be played on the New 3DS. If it's less expensive, the 2DS is a great option

Got ta 2DS refurbished from Nintendo for my daughter...it’s a nice little system...I think my wife plays it more than either my daughter or myself 😆 ended up having to get myself a New 3DS XL.

That's awesome that you have so many people in your household that like to play games! I've heard that refurbished systems from Nintendo's store are really good, like brand new. I've been tempted a few times to try one out.

@@NeanderMeander honestly the refurbished 2DS definitely looked brand new with new sealed manuals & AR cards when we received it from nintendo. The only give away was the generic white box with a sticker it came in versus the standard retail box.

As a kid I thought the wedge design was to clarify that there was no 3D, and that the wedge design was more "2D".

I owned the original 3ds since 2011 Christmas but i would buy an original 2ds just to mod it at least ill also but a new 2ds xl soon cause the battery on the original 3ds runs out to quick

Yeah, I’ve come around to really liking it too! The shape is a bit odd, but it’s quite comfortable! At one time they were marked down to $80. Nintendo sells them directly on their store for $50.
