Must be a type of wager match, Ness is going to be in this game because he is not only a veteran from the first game, if you pause at 0:56 you can see Mr saturn the little cat right behind bowser. You can also see the trophies on the smash bros logo. Could metal sonic be an assist trophy. You can also set the time and options for smash run from what it looks like.

My major plus is that you can get rid of the outline. I don't mind it too much, it certainly is useful for highlighting details like in Pokémon X and Y and making it easier to pinpoint your character but I sometimes find it to be a bit of an eyesore. Definitely going to try and learn Greninja, Little Mac, and get better with Kirby.

I have high hopes that the 3DS version will be just as amazing as the Wii U version. I refuse to let all the online opinions about the 3DS demo sucking compared to Wii U version hinder my thoughts or expectations of a still-in-development title. This looks fast and beautiful for the handheld's standards, and form what I played, it looks like it's not gonna be overshadowed by it's HD counterpart. I do agree it could use some improvements here & there, but as I stated, the game is still in development, and Mr. Sakurai has been working hard to deliver us pure awesomeness, even with his arm's condition. I praise him for giving us what's, in my opinion, the best roster I've seen in my life for Smash Bros. and for giving us well-made console/handheld editions of the game, among other things. I can't wait for both versions' releases. Sure the 3DS version may be delayed to October, but as we all know (and expect), the extra time the developers now have will give us fantastic games. :)

that was only in one game, and the gameplay is the point of buying a fighting game. nobody buys street fighter for the story, and subspace emmisary was anything but charming. the characters were blank slates not representative of the characters' personalities from the games (other than one time DK wants bananas or something?)

That seems like the new kind of "Adventure Mode", since there were rewards and presumably different objectives. Classic Mode, as its name implies, is classical and is only about fighting the others without any kind of rewards.

I love how everyone is saying how a certain person is confirmed, but remember back in 2013 (I think) when the developer said the roster would be a little bit shorter this time around. I know it must suck not playing as your favorite character, but just wait a little bit more because we're not sure if they have stopped confirming characters yet.

gamer39985 When wifi was cut off I tried playing brawl's solo modes. I played a couple dozen matches with the cpu. I got bored very easily. For some reason I had a lot more fun with melee offline. I guess I wasn't spoiled with playing with actual people back then. Sm4sh looks like I can have a blast even If I have no online modes.
