Lol yeah it’s super funny, but the idea is that Dracula is way ahead of his time. This is shown in the game when u interact with objects and the character doesn’t know what it is, and it’s even further shown in the Castlevania Netflix show. The characters call electricity “lightning” and ask how Dracula was able to “capture and trap lightning in tiny containers”
@ChrrolloDI3 жыл бұрын
@@levilombardi3162 No offense, that but show is even more non canon than 64/Legacy of Darkness. I mean, the creator himself literally stated that he has never even played a single Castlevania game.
@levilombardi31623 жыл бұрын
@@ChrrolloDI Oh well I didn't hear about that. I think my point still stands though, because haven't characters from other games also expressed confusion or fear about machines and things inside Dracula's castle? Ig the show was just lucky and hit the nail on the head. Maybe the show creator never played any of the games but obviously it still included lots of content from the games, and I'm sure SOMEONE mentioned "hey Dracula does freaky science shit and it freaks ppl out lmao"

Reinhardt Schneider And Carrie are the two characters to pick from. I had always selected Carrie. As Carrie I can get past Dracula much easier then I would as Reinhardt Schneider. And as Reinhardt Schneider the task would be harder for me . Getting a decent ending using any one of those characters was even harder because everything has to be done perfectly. If they ever remake this Castlevania game, I hope they make the gameplay more convenient as far as the viewing controls go. And maybe something else as well.

10:28 interesting series of events... 3D platforming is always annoying, but here it seems like it works alright... even in 2022 we still see a bunch of games where the developers seem to be OBSESSED with including 3D platforming (in 1st person games it's even worse) I have no idea why game programmers get so obsessed about that stuff LOL
@Matt-cn2nn Жыл бұрын
Platforming and the concept of parkour is generally an easy way of generating a thrill in players without having to do much. Of course, in many games it compliments it well, and then there's stuff like Dark Souls where it could have really just done without the platforming.

I lived in Japan from I was 6 till I was 11, and I had the Japanese N64 version. That meant that most games I got were in Japanese (which I did not know) so I had to stumble around not really knowing what to do. That only served to add on to the horror of the game, where I was stumbling "blindly" around. Such a classic! It wasn't nearly as hard as trying to figure out mission objectives in Golden Eye 64 on the hardest difficulty though.
