PapaGenos speculation videos always bring the hype! I’m still hyping responsibly, but I’m definitely more excited for this Direct than most others. Let’s hope that SMRPG remake rumor is true! A new 2D Mario with a distinct style and different than NSMB could be really good. Super Mario Wild Wonders sounds like an interesting title. Otherwise, I’ll continue to have faint hopes for a new F-Zero, Star Fox, and/or Pilotwings game, but I know better than to expect any of those haha.

Absolute wildcard but imagine if the Super Mario RPG remake have Voice Acting? The Mario film proved that people are fine with the Mario cast having voiced lines for extended periods of time as long as the performances are good.

I'm really hoping for a Super Mario RPG Remake tomorrow. Also to predict Mario Kart 8 Deluxe characters, I can see Petey Piranha and Pauline being the most likely. The two games I’ve seen “leaked” are Super Mario RPG or Chrono Trigger. I never played either growing up. But for the sake of Papa, I really hope it’s RPG! Would love to finally experience it. Almost bought it loose a few months ago but the label wasn’t great so I passed.

I think if we were to get a new indie title for the Switch shown off at the direct, my biggest prediction immediately goes straight to The Henry Stickmin Collection being ported to the Nintendo Switch. I’ve constantly predicted this every time an Indie World showcase happens and I’ve constantly been proven wrong about it because it’s always not shown there. Pretty much sure I started doing this prediction since Among Us got revealed and released for the Switch I believe almost 2-3 years at this point. Also, for the Mario Kart 8 DELUXE DLC, I would prefer Wii Daisy Circuit to be in Wave 5 rather than Wii Koopa Cape, I know a lot of people are saying that it will be in the BCP because of the banner “leak” but I personally think it’s fan made and not true at all. Plus Nintendo can change things behind the scenes so there’s a slim possibility that they’ll replace Wii Koopa Cape with Wii Daisy Circuit instead (plus I think it’s highly likely we’ll for sure get Wii Rainbow Road in Wave 6 because that’s just an obvious choice at this point).

If Square Enix was going to remake Chrono Trigger I BET MONEY that it would get an ACTUAL remake. Not a sprite remake, a full final fantasy 7 remake remake. Like you said, its one of the most reveired games of all time, one of the genuine top contenders for best game of all time, it would get a massive remake and it would be a massive deal. A bigger deal than a little nintendo direct like this.
