Sylux has been set up as the main villain of prime 4 since 2007 with the cliffhanger ending of prime 3 and was set up even more with the cliffhanger ending of federation force and only now is he actually going to get to do his evil plan. Only took him 18 years

I was actually really excited about a new Super Mario Party. I know a lot of people said it felt lacking, but honestly, I loved how it was designed as a smaller, faster Mario Party since it perfectly suits the Switch in that way. Going back and playing older Mario Parties just feel like a slog after Super, so I'm optimistic for a new version in this kind of Mario Party.

I'm definitely excited for Jamboree. Of course, we'll still need to wait and see in regards to some of the other modes, but it does look like a lot of fun. Also, motion-control minigames while also NOT forcing people to use a single joycon (and thus locking out people with a Switch Lite.... I'm not one of the people affected since my Switch isn't a Switch Lite, but that doesn't mean that it isn't a problem for anyone who does have a Switch Lite). Anyways, I hope you have an amazing day if you're reading this! Seriously though, there were a lot of great announcements in this direct. Mario & Luigi was such a shock to me, but a good shock at that... I have so many fond memories with the series, and I am DEFINITELY going to be buying that on day 1.

@@TheBoredJord Although, I am a TAD bit worried about the AMOUNT of motion minigames. While I do genuinely enjoy a lot of the motion minigames, the fact that they won't be available online does mean that those 110+ minigames may end up being closer to 80-90+ minigames when playing online (or not using a single joycon. Whether that be because you are using a Switch Lite or because you simply prefer other control styles). But who knows, we'll just have to wait and see.

I always manage to somehow miss these Nintendo directs... caught last years tho. The new zelda game I wasn't aware of and it certainly looks interesting. And didn't know about Prime 4 either (still haven't played any of them). Glad that you did a quick little rundown on it tho which helps me out bigtime ! Doesnt seem like I missed out on too much!!

Lot's of must haves this time! M&L, Mario Party, Dragon Quest, Zelda! Even Metroid, I thought the trailer looked lame as heck, but I'll probably give it a go

I'm sad there's still no Tomodachi Life, but I SCREAMED the moment Edgeworth popped in during the Ace Attorney Investigations announcement. Also with Peach Showtime and this time Legend of Zelda, I'm glad Nintendo is giving more love to their female protags.

I've never played Ace Attorney but I always hear passionate praise for it from those who have. I've also never played Tomodachi Life but I'd give both of these games a shot! 😁
