The NESRGB is an awesome mod, I have one installed in an A/V Famicom and the output looks amazing.

Gotcha Vet. Feel free to keep me in mind, it you're available to do so in the future. I do have to say this Vet, I hate the new KZbin handle names that they implemented for members. They put me as charliecat9055. So I had to do the best on my settings profile so I could try to have my old handle name back as Charlie Cat. So I added a dash in the middle and a period. Anthony..

I can't believe im the ONLY person who noticed that he installed the pin socket backwards. (@ 04:57) Regardless, I REALLY like how the finished product looks in that clear shell. 👍

Love the build. Is it basically a NES built from scratch? Or did you use any existing component from the old NES? Thanks.

It uses the motherboard chips and cpu from the original unit 👍Thank you

The RGB Kit comes with a voltage regulator board, is it still required if you use the Power Module mod?
@TheVetUk2 ай бұрын
@@timothy4179 as long as the voltages are correct you can use the power mod just check them first 👍

I ordered my kit from oldskoolconsoles, it doesn’t come with the 220 nf capacitor for c8. May I know if it’s actually required? Also may I know the specs of the capacitor so perhaps I can purchase it outside
@TheVetUk2 ай бұрын
Have you replaced the timing capacitor (typically labeled C8 on the motherboard, depending on the revision) with the supplied 220 nF capacitor? I suspect that you have missed the notes page specific to the version which states that the capacitor must be replaced as the stock 100 nF capacitor is too low for the reset timings that the NESRGB expects, so I figured it might be worth a check.
