I wouldn't recommend it for platformers, but it's a pretty great joystick for arcade games and flight sims! Definitely not too shabby!

I have one of these in the early 2000's, like from 2000 to 2001 when I lived in Texas. I really liked for Super Mario Bros. and Back to the Future Part 2 & 3. Now I really rebuy this for my Nintendo NES soon.

For what it is, it's a pretty decent joystick! Not my pick for platforms but still not too shabby!

I have one of these. Works excellent with Track n Field 2 doing the hammer throw.

I never thought about using this for that, but it makes perfect sense! I'll have to try that instead of the D-Pad! Not too shabby at all!

That's definitely not too shabby! I was never big into Joystick games myself but for flight games, these are tops!

Was just looking at my own which I have never used. An oddity for sure as I was just thinking yeah, it must have had flight sims in mind with that design, I had wondered why a joystick for the NES and then wondered if a joystick one not a more arcade styled one? Was there really enough flight sims to warrant a stick like this? I mean I guess for the die hards but otherwise I would think most would just use a standard gamepad. Of course I am admittedly not much into flight sim type games so what do I know? Still, your video and game demonstrations has given me more appreciation for it and I look forward to trying it out at some point.

Not too shabby! I'm not a huge flight-sim fan either (with the exception being StarFox), but outside of that, I've always been game pad fan. There is an NES Arcade Joystick (a pretty popular one called the NES Advantage) I'd like to review on some point too. I'll add it to my list just to try it out if nothing else, but I'll have to see if I own one (and if not, I know a guy who can help me out)! Kudos!

I'm honestly surprised those weren't microswitches. I've never run into an issue with one of these. I might still have one around somewhere.

Me too! I guess their Macroswitches? It's a good Joystick actually, I highly recommend it!

Hi! This joystick is for the NES console and can't be connected to PC without a special adapter (like an NES to USB adapter).
