Normally I'm not a fan of these types of bootleg mini consoles, but I found this exact one at the Goodwill today for $5.99 and just couldn't resist. I was honestly surprised that the controllers work well with no real noticeable input lag, definitely great for 6 bucks.
@JustSomeRetroGamer3 ай бұрын
That's definitely not too shabby! For $6, you get a pretty decent collection of some of the best games on NES... it's just too bad that this particular one doesn't have HDMI out... that would have made it a way better console in general! Great find!

Can you show how to hook it up with a Av2 hdmi on a smart 4K tv I can’t get it to work
@JustSomeRetroGamer Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, each TV and adapter is different. If you have a Composite In, simply connected Yellow to Yellow (Video) and the Audio Cable (Either Red or White) to Red or White on the TV. If you have a Component In Option (The one with the 5 RCA Inputs), you can sometimes connect the Yellow to the Green Input and the Red / White Audio Cable to the Red / White on the back of the TV (this may vary depending on the model of TV. If you have an AV to HDMI Adapter, it should be pretty straight forward (Match the Colors and plug into an HDMI port and switch to that TVs HDMI input). If your adapter requires power (some do), make sure it's connected to a USB Power Adapter. If you want to try the old school method, you can get an old RF Modulator, plug the required components in and tune your TV to either Channel 3 or 4 (depending on the modulator). I can't show how mine is hooked up because I use a Video Capture Card on my computer to capture my video. Sorry about that!

That's the problem with these 3rd party devices. Really, if you can afford it, you're better off getting an actual NES Mini and loading it up with Roms.

Question: Does this console show a game's original title opening and scene demo/montage loop, when you are not playing the game? Help will be appreciated. Thank you. :-)
@JustSomeRetroGamer Жыл бұрын
I would assume it would since it's just a plug and play multi cart with a bunch of roms on it. Haven't checked though and I don't currently have it hooked up at the moment

Is there a way to switch games without having to get up and press the reset button i have one?
@JustSomeRetroGamer4 ай бұрын
I don't believe so... seems like that would have been a an easy feature to map to a button combo like A+B+START+SELECT.

I haven't watched your entire video. I had to stop when you were reading the same absurd instructions as I read. Mine came with the AV? plugs. What output settings do my television need to be set on. Any insight is appreciated.
@JustSomeRetroGamer7 ай бұрын
If you're connecting it up to a Flat Screen, you'll need to check which of the Red Green Blue connections double as a standard A/V. It varies per TV, but on mine, I was able to plug the Yellow into Green and the Audio Cable into White. Then I swtiched the TV to A/V Input. Sorry I couldn't be more help... they gotta start making HDMI the standard on these things! ;)

I’m wondering if you could help me fined composite cable to same wireless mini entertainment system having had time fining one
@JustSomeRetroGamer11 ай бұрын
I'm not sure I could to be honest, since mine came with the cable and I've since sold the unit. Though I *think* it's a standard 2.5mm (or it could be 3.5mm) to rca cable that comes with a lot of those all in ones found on AliExpress looking back on the video. I'm sorry I can really be more help on this one. :( It might work with one of those older cables that came with older digital cameras with composite out on then, but I can't say for sure. Sorry about that.

@@billyray6329 I'm not sure if this would do the job. I really wish I still had the console to test it, but it *looks* about right. www.amazon.com/AILTECK-Camcorder-Output-Compatible-Panasonic/dp/B08V1SV8BL/ref=sr_1_3?crid=13H7QC4M19TC9&keywords=3.5mm+to+video+rca+cable&qid=1706127981&sprefix=3.5mm+to+video+rca+cable%2Caps%2C89&sr=8-3 I can't guarantee it, but it looks pretty darn close to the one I had in the video.

@@billyray6329 If you manage to find the correct one, let me know and I'll pin it for anyone else who's curious! I'm sure it's some proprietary cable. Random Thought: Did you try moving the cables to different ports? (Like Maybe the video output is on Red or White output instead of yellow). It might be sending the video signal over a different wire than Yellow if the 3.5mm jack fits physically fits in the console. Best of luck!

I bought this for $40 at a flea market 😂 I’m having fun with it my only problem is saving games, not sure it’s possible. Another problem is it won’t let me play 2 players on the games I’ve used so far. Any help on how to fix these?
@JustSomeRetroGamer Жыл бұрын
I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sure. Unfortunately, my version of the 620A did not include any games that can save or anything. As for the 2 player situation, mine just synced up automatically and worked right out of the box. Do both controllers work? Like, can you use each on in single player? If not, one might be faulty or not syncing up correctly. I wish I knew more about these things to troubleshoot them properly. Sorry I couldn't be any help!
