I fixed (cleaned) a controller for my snes yesterday, the rubber trigger pads are white, so is my sink. After I cleaned all the plastic and rubber parts I pulled everything out but didn't notice the rubber trigger pad. It went down the drain when I pulled the stopper out. Thank God for drain traps being a thing, it could've been gone forever.

just standard form the drug store / grocery store and the uv light is what really helps with the process

You put the D-Pad rubber pad in the wrong position, the side with the little hole should be in the bottom left 🤷
