I truly believe that one of the major selling point with the switch 2 is gonna be that like this video addresses there will be a solid 3rd party lineup and in my opinion Switch 2 will market itself ad the ONLY console on the GO to be able to play GTA6 , I firmly believe GTA6 will be coming to the Nintendo console and will become a system seller

What makes you believe that? They don't even plan to bring it for PC for a while. GTA 1-5? Sure. But 6 will probably not be available since they say the Switch2 will be on the level of a PS4 at release.

@@EternalKhann Rockstar tends to release their games a year later on PC. Switch 2 MAY get GTA6, and yeah it’s cause of the hardware not being strong enough (lol we’re already going to start having this discussion whether or not the Switch 2 can run this game or not). I can see them releasing GTA6 a year later alongside the PC release, as a Switch 2 port would require quite a bit of work. Digital Foundry did a technical breakdown of GTA6, and while Rockstar games usually look better at launch, the trailer which is probably running on a PC with console equivalent specs, is running at 1440p upscaled to 4K at 30 FPS. Getting the Switch 2 to run something like that in docked is possible BUT getting it to run in handheld is the real problem.

i really think Pokemon Legends Z-A is coming out on or a little after release of Switch 2. They said simultaneous launch in the promotion. They are not advertising global launches, funny enough XY was the first Pokemon games that did that.

I heard this on KZbin that the switch 2 will not launch before April 2025. The switch 2 console could be launching for the 2025 fiscal year. Not this fiscal year. I also heard this on KZbin that during Nintendo recent shareholders meeting. Nintendo said the switch successor is not in their financials for this fiscal year.

Some thoughts If they get gta 6 this thing will be unseen in stores for 2 years. that's the game they really need. Even if it's running at 540p>1080p with DLSS it's just the biggest power play they could ever have. With Nintendo's business strategy they have managed toget a switch in the hands of every pretty much every nintendo fan but the problem is they still make up 80% of their software sales from first party games. Going into the next generation it is gonna be wayy more costly and time consuming to make these games release at a decent cadence. Nintendo are going to put more AAA third party titles on Switch 2 and they may even replace parts of the calendar year that you'd usually see a nintendo title at. We already know this because Nintendo of America hired two big names to help bring over AAA games recently. One from sony one from capcom. I think the best way to say instill confidence in customers and developers is by showing them a decent looking gta 6 on the switch 2. I think it's highly unlikely though, just fun to think about them making a crazy play like that to kick off the generation, it'd be legendary and a great way for furukawa to build his legacy.
