Appreciate the review, but somehow in almost 10 minutes you never really talked about the controller itself. How do the buttons feel? Too much or too little travel? Is the plastic high quality? Any deadzones for the sticks? Is it comfortable over long periods of time? Are those buttons as loud as they seem?

Thanks for the feedback! The controller itself is very light, almost feels hollow, the buttons are 'clicky' as loud as the video captures it. The plastic feels sturdy, and the plastic case is durable so it will last as you slide it on and off. As for deadzones with the sticks not in any of my playtesting, Fortnite was the most flawless in terms of integration and default mapped controls that make sense. Modern combat had a very strange default mapping, and as alluded in the video the Gamepad app has low ratings because I haven't successfully remmaped any buttons in these games. I think it's a software update though, as I've tested remmapping in both phones. Nintendo Joycons are a better build, buttons feel like they have plastic membrane to soften the press, where as the Razer Junglecat is just a click, similar to a mechanical keyboard. Buttons are a little small, like the RB and R trigger are too close, RB is a thin button, but the trigger has the right spring pressure to it. And yes it is comfortable because they don't add too much weight for long gaming sessions, although it's in the hands of devs if they intergrate this controller or not. Leagues ahead of using just the control, Xbox controller is the best although these are more stylish and compact, like I can throw into my bag. The joysticks are built well and to press them down is a satisfying click. Hope this answers your questions and thanks for watching!

Guide to reviewing a controller: 1 gamepad tester app check if the analog sticks can draw a circle. 2. latency test 3. what is it xinput, direct input HID 4. Deadzone test. 5 Compatibility with the UI, touch mapping 3rd party apps, pairing with pc or android. Its an expensive controller these are basics. I will do them on my channel account but my controller is in shipping so perhaps you will have a chance to do it. Almost forgot the famous "can you fireball dpad test"

Dude god damnit, YES!! Like, I don't understand how NO ONE has a general testing methodology for things like this that they go through with each one. I'll be watching for your video based on this comment alone. It really bugs me in particular with controllers that are PC compatible. For instance it was impossible to find out with the Hyperkin XBOX Duke controller, if it was hooked to a PC, whether or not the new bumper buttons were unique buttons or duplicated black/white. I had to buy the controller to find out... and sadly they are duplicates (Not one modern controller with z&c slot buttons, I swear...) Anyway, my point is, "basics". It seems like testing inputs and saying "Oh these are just another set of B&W buttons" would be baseline review stuff.

Managed to use scissors and file to file down the Huawei P30 pro case into my Mate 30 Pro phone. Its was tricky but doable.

Yes there's a version that comes with the Huawei P30 Glad you can make it fit!

does it work with windows as well since its xinput? I can mod the case to fit in a windows tablet.

Stuck between this and the Kishi. I like the form factor of this better but they are both pretty expensive. I might try a clip with my Xbox controller first because my note 9 is a pretty light phone for its size and compared to my iPhone 11.

I can imagine people 3d printing track that can be solid glued to cases for other phones

SkyHighGam3r since this is via Bluetooth, does it work in PC as well with games like Tomb Raider? Heavily considering this of its form factor

Would be cool if they made it for the Nvidia shield tablet. Would be a legit switch

this product turns your phone into a nintendo switch
@reyfox534 жыл бұрын
I think the term like a Nintendo switch it's not correct because the switch feature is that it can be a handheld console and a tv console but it will be better or correct if you say similar to the switch base on the joy cons but other then that it looks awesome but it lacks on other devices but good video
@Emuland694 жыл бұрын
These phones can be connected to a tv and you can detach the controllers and play that way so yes, it is like a nintendo switch.
@loop57203 жыл бұрын
Every smart phone now can connect to a TV, especially the ones with type C, and this with emulation is perfect

How do the buttons feel? How do the triggers feel? Pointless video mate because I did not get a better understanding.
