Just grabbed one. First new console I've bought ever. Everything else has been used. Too nice looking to pass up on, and I prefer the Lite to the OLED due to the size and weight.

You have to peel the film off on any acrylic stands. It’s a thin film on both the front and back of acrylic to keep it from scuffing.

Just picked up the hyrule edition switch lite today, since I didn't get it release day thanks to gamestop... It is georgeous! And looks amazing next to my totk oled switch. Best looking special edition switch yet! I pre ordered the oled screen mod also to install into it later.

My favorite color is yellow, but I often wear black and gold accents (belt, watch, shoes, gauged earrings, pocket watch chain, etc). I have a yellow Switch Lite and I just purchased the gold Switch Lite to match my outfit and GameBoy Micro and will set them up for individual screen local wireless play.

Speaking of preorder bonuses, I'm one of the lucky few that got the Paper Mario cardboard cover sleeve (Canada exclusive). I remember seeing a Spawnwave video that they had sold on ebay for over 1K. The Lite is beautiful by the way, mine is coming in the mail soonish.

Not having sticker seals on this entire generation of Switches is the strangest thing ever to me. I think they did the same thing with the N64 and most 3DS's I believe so there's no real collector value to having a "new" Switch, N64 or 3DS because there's no way to prove they haven't been opened. They come from the factory "opened" lol. They need to keep those clear circle stickers or bring back those really cool Nintendo strip-style stickers that the Gameboy Pocket had.

Am I the only person on the whole planet that do not remove the plastic on my new games that way? I always take a knife, put it flat on the upper portion of the game, run it through those two part of plastic that are over each other. It is super safe and makes absolutely no scratches on the game case itself. You were gentle yourself but when I see other going the way you do with a sharp knife and clearly scratching the cases… like wtf is wrong with everyone?! 😅

Beautiful... my local Best Buy put huge stickers or labels to each preorder on the side of the Hyrule Edition Switch Lite boxes... so now people have to be Reaaaalllly careful peeling those off to keep the box of the system in minty condition...

@@EdsHead I've had the same system since March 3rd 2017. In my opinion it's way too late to invest into anything new especially with how the economy is right now. I just don't have the money to spend like that. Very grateful to have mine still in working condition considering the line of models at launch were very faulty.

Still rockin the OG launch model but it's decked out now; joycons got hall sticks, metal buckles, transparent emerald shells, switch itself got matching emerald transparent shell and the dock got a facelift with a matching totk themed front plate replacement. Fresh thermal paste every couple years and she's been running just fine. I did buy a Splatoon OLED when it came out, but I returned it when the hype wore off after a couple days and I remembered I don't really play handheld at all. I'm only human, I give in to the hype sometimes lol

switch are cute and cool. esp the coral and turquoise. but i prefer the regular and oled its already portable to me plus i got the option to dock with tv whenever i need to. id rather have it when needed than need it and not have it

That's a clean looking switch man! I almost bought one, but decided that I may buy an OLED if there's better discounts once the switch successor is announced. I just ordered the OLED mod kit with hdmi output for my switch lite, as Hall effect joysticks, I have a little bit of modding experience, so hopefully it goes well. Nice video dude!

Modding is fun. I learned how to solder just to hard mod my lite and as a side benefit I fixed a couple Xbox controllers with drift. I also ordered the OLED with HDMI mod today, pretty excited to have a fully decked out hard-modded oled switch lite in a couple months.

i think that the switch lite is bad whatever the logo they put on it. you are much better buying the big switch with a bigger screen and removable joycons and you can play on your big tv too.

Get it! I have the tears if the kingdom oled and just picked this one up as my first switch lite. I absolutely love it. It's so nice to have both special edition Zelda consoles. 100% worth the buy, in my opinion, at least. I missed out on the Zelda 3DS'S back when so this kinda makes up for it lol
