I despise putting on screen protectors. I get them perfectly, however, I live in a super dusty home, so whenever I clean the screen, dust will immediately collect as I put the protector on.

Stroke Miser Just like Blunty said, just take a hot shower and when you're done, it'll be ready to apply the screen protector. I put mine on the bed, coffee table and shower and they always comes out perfect. However, I use eye glasses cleaning wipes, usually 2 or 3 and then put on the screen protector. They clean a lot better than those that's included with the protectors. I also wear glasses so I have plenty handy for protectors.

I've had this protector for a few weeks now, and I was a little wary as to how tight it makes my Switch fit in the dock, it's very snug and I feared it would damage the protector when I dock and undock the system.... However after seeing Blunty go at it with a knife like this, I have to say I'm MUCH happier with it now!

Another benefit of the tempered glass is that it lets my Switch sit more snugly in the dock without rocking. I'm not sure which I prefer more between Orzly and AM film but AM film is a LOT cheaper with the same performance. However, the Orzley perfectly fits the screen without leaving the mm of space on the edge like the AM film.

I bought one of these myself. The screen application really isn't as hard as it looked though, it's all about how you do it. Haven't gotten any adhesive issues with mine yet but it's good to know it's scratch proof and the dock isn't gonna harm it

No comments about the Direct Blunty... They did show YELLOW Joy Cons, new character and mode for ARMS and Splatoon aswell as some other goodies. The MOST important thing was that they are working on making the Joy Con convey the feeling of fondling the human female BREAST!!!!

Got this screen protector for my switch, never applied a tempered glass screen protector in my life so far before. Found it super easy to put on, did it first time tho maybe i was lucky, just place carefully and a bit of pressure in the center and done. I can see the edge of the protector but I easily forget about it, doesn't seem to affect quality of screen that much and nice to touch. Having a spare is also a nice bonus.

The tempered is supposed to mean it doesn't shatter like regular glass that goes everywhere when broken. Like you explained in the video it's contained in one spot.

I've played docked for more than a few 6 to 10 hour sessions while streaming... I've obviously had no such problem so I can't speak to that.

toshironikko Just leave it on for 24 hours before docking it. This allows the adhesive to set properly. I have this Orzly screen protector on and it hasn't melted yet. Granted I play mostly in portable mode but I do play it docked quite a bit as well. Just like any screen protector, it's best to let it set properly before use.

While I don't have this specific brand, I can at least speak for the amFilm Glass Screen Protector which has served me well for about a month now with no issues. Not saying they are exactly the same, but the amFilm pack is extremely similar for far less ($10.99), and is really effective at keeping the screen pristine. Even with a slightly bent Switch dock, I've had no complaints.So, take it as you will for the general quality of these kinds of screen protectors.

The big problem is the shipping time. I ordered this before the switch came out through Amazon and I got it earlier this month. Don't get it if you are hoping to protect your switch the first day you have it and live in the US.

I got a Big Ben tempered glass screen protector. Save from the fact that, as always, a spec of dust went behind the screen protector as I was applying it (no matter what I do, dust is just in the air, so cleaning it 5 times prior didn't help avoid it completely), I've been prefectly happy with it. They also claim to have a shatter-proof layer which I guess is what you're saying. It wasn't cheap at 15€, but I rest well at night knowing that I don't have to be super careful how I slide my Switch inside and out of its dock every friggin time I do so.

Steamy bathroom kills the dust. Damp hair prevents dandruff, and hinge method with stickers allows fast application so less time for dust to fall. Plus it covers the screen until the moment you apply

I got it, Failed on the first try, but got it the second time. I love the light effect it has if you look at your switch sideways. Thank those gyro puzzles for learning that, but the failed one let me test my sharp knife....and I sliced through through it, I was angry..but wait...I cut into the back side, the back side is the plastic that holds it together to keep it from shattering, I tried it on the display side..and nothing, I couldn't scratch or even rough it up by grinding it on the ground. Now tapping my knife did break it with little effort but this won't happen on the switch because of the blow being absorbed more when on the switch and the energy having no where to go when it's just hanging out. A hard thing to put on without dust when living in texas, but a great buy, I love it. Crystal clear and better yet, I got it for 5.99 due to the sale. Thank you, this info panned out great for me.

These are the protectors I have on me and my brothers Switch's, but it's mocking me because I got it slightly off centered. I've never used a screen protector before, so I am unsure if you can take it off and be able to put it back on again. Either way, it's not terrible. Just, enough to annoy me.

Sdudyoy Newton You can take it off, just use a credit card or a thin blade to prop it off, and you should be able to stick it back on pretty easily. If you get dust or lint under the screen protector just use a piece of tape to get it off and just be careful not to flip it upside down too often

Curious if you find the edges start to lift after a few weeks like mine has, my Switch has never been docked and is cared for as much as yours, and as I've used and installed Orzly and other glass protectors on other devices (all glass screened themselves) without any long term issues so I'm wondering if it doesn't adhere as nicely to plastic as glass....

The best way to put on the glass screen protectors is to tape the edge to the switch, line it up, then peel off the screen and place it on. Then remove the tape.

if you really want to test how hard, you need mohs picks. plastic scratches at lvl3. glass scratches are lvl 4. tempers glass scratches at lvl6 and Sapphire scratches at lvl 8 or 9. lvl 10 is as hard as diamonds.

Reliant Panda Take a piece of clear packing tape and apply it to one end. Then take some scotch tape, sticky side out, and wrap it around your pointer finger. After this, simply go over the dust particles wth the scotch tape and they should come right off without running the adhesive on the protector. Place the protector back down and you should be fine.
