Just watched 10 videos and this was the one that finally worked.. an hour later I can finally start gaming. Helpful tip! Don’t even bother with these wired controllers, get a pro wireless controller and save yourself the money and the hassle!

It worked. My PRO CONTROLLER HAS BEEN OFFLINE FOR A YEAR AND IVE BEEN WATCHING VIDEOS TO TRY TO FIX IT BUT AFTER A YEAR OF BEING DEPRIVED OF MY PRO CONTROLLER IT WORKS NOW[{|"THAAAAANK YOOOOU SO SO MUCH"|}] IM CRYING CUZ ITS WORKING AGIAN. we have so many Nintendo controllers that it kicks the pro controllers off and i thought it would never work again! Thanks alot buddy! I think I have an idea what caused it. Constant switching from handheld to dock.I think as best practice to either power off, wait few seconds or restart in docked mode.

I thought my controller was completely dead because nothing would light up. I tried to hold the down D-pad and finally saw a light blinking! But it still does not work, the controller still is broken. At least I tried. thank you for the tutorial, seems like it works for some others.
