I don't think there was any particular reason for it, really it's just the kind of person Mark is (extremely emotional and pessimistic). Imo people should have stopped listening to him years ago. In short, if you ask me, there's absolutely no way Reboot Ep 2 is being made or will ever be made. I can guarantee that it's been a year since Mark even opened flash.

Luigi is so underrated in SBMZ.... Without Luigi Mario wouldn't beat Bowser in the first or second episode..... Without Luigi's 1up mushroom they would all die in the Yoshi Island Without Luigi hitting the clock they wouldn't be able to escape Without Luigi Mario and all of his Teammates would die in the last Episode And was the one who got ZERO damage in the Yoshi Island.....

He's definitely underrated. He's strong on his own. There's a comment on the previous episode or two that analyzes everyones fighting style. Some guy in this thread claimed that Luigi is the strongest. Not true. Dont get me wrong, he's incredibly resourceful - but Luigi is more aligned with a supporter role. SMBZ already set his bar, he's not physically stronger than Mario. though as a threatening supporter he fights amazingly well.

5:04-5:39 Everyone and their mom knew that silhouette was eggman but the way Alvin earthworm portrayed him gave us this sense of mystery to him. He also gave Bowser a lot more personality in this episode. He shows that Bowser can be a clever and cunning strategist while at the same time retaining his thick-skulled “gotta kidnap the princess” schtick.

Hello, for those of you who are wondering what happened to Mark, He left a tweet. A lot of people have been asking on a near daily basis about when the next episode of SMBZ will be coming out. And the answer to that is a whole hearted... I don't know... I am fully aware this isn't the answer that everyone has been wanting to hear. But that is the honest to god truth. In the back of my mind I still very much want to work on the series and FINALLY see it through to the bitter end. Yet at the same time, I still hold resentment towards a company who I have supported faithfully for decades for stabbing me in the back. Never mind the fact I spent many hours of my free time making a glorified commercial for them. As long as they're not getting a slice of the pie, I don't deserve any at all. As for my radio silence to all of the inquiries coming my way. Why I have been "lying" to my fans and they want the truth. You really want the truth? Okay then. At face value I'm the pioneer of sprite based crossover fanfics. My series inadvertently helped hundreds, maybe thousands of aspiring animators pursue their careers and go onto great things. But the cold reality is I'm an unemployed antisocial 32 year old virgin living at my mother's place on disability benefits. Suffering from chronic depression, autism and suicidal thoughts. Feel free to make fun and kick the dirt in my face while I'm down. I honestly don't care anymore. My reputation and credibility are in shambles anyway. I honestly thought my life was turning around for the better when I started the reboot. I was happier than I had ever been in a long time. I had so much support on Patreon. I was going to the gym. I was eating healthily and lost a lot of weight. Then fucking Nintendo did their usual copyright bullshit. I'm not trying to demonize the company here, but seeing my Patreon closed down and my KZbin channel being fucked around with demoralized the fuck out of me. I tried to rekindle that spark again by opening my new Patreon and receiving donations monthly. But the damage had been done. I slipped back into depression. I haven't been back to the gym since then and I put all that weight I had lost back on. Hell, I haven't even left the house for the past four months. Video games have been my only escape. People noticed my positivity in my tweets when playing Breath of the Wild. But that was just a band aid on a bullet wound. It merely diverted my attention temporarily. Most days I can't find the energy to get out of bed. I also wish the "meme" pics I have been posting were an exaggeration. But they truly are how I feel inside. I need help and I'm not getting it. The only thing that keeps me clinging to this wretched mortal plane is my mother who has been the best and most thoughtful person ever, as well as my online pal Jake who is the brother I had always wanted. I'd be totally lost without them. So, yeah. I didn't exactly want to post this, but recent events have made it a necessity I guess. Although I am terrible at showing it, I truly do appreciate all the support I get from everyone. Fact is, SMBZ is the least of my priorities at this time. A shame because this episode was the most unique out of all of them. Featuring a world with a curse that not even the biggest bad could disrespect, that place was bad enough that Mecha Sonic took a seat to let the doctor explain what the hell was going on, because he realized in that situation that even HE needed information then and there. When the doc said that it was time to go, everybody knew it was time to go. Everybody. Even Mecha Sonic could feel the tension when the negative energy began to return. The Escape will always send chills up and down my spine.

Y'know, I really enjoy that, in this episode, Alvin Earthworm added lore to Mario's universe that Nintendo itself probably wouldn't touch upon, at least significantly. This brings up a couple of interesting questions in my opinion: 1. How far back does Princess Peach's dynasty reach? Was the introduction peaceful or invasive? 2. How old exactly are the Toads and Koopas as people-groups (as it were)? Were they indigenous or did they invade? Just some questions I found interesting enough to think about.

I absolutely loved that - it is my favourite episode. Sonic should've left Shadow to search for the emerald. Mario led them into The Minus World. Luigi is a hero like Yoshi and When Luigi stopped the thing, that part was scary cos I wouldn't want to get trapped. No matter how many times I see this 6:28 it gives me chills. Mecha Mario may be the equivalent to Cell. Has all Mario's techniques, can use his power ups because Bowser figured out how to in (episode 1)and programmed it into Mecha Mario, and is or has as strong an attack as Mecha Sonic. Was born in a lab. That would mean in the end only Luigi (Gohan) would have a chance of winning. He'd have to step up and finally face everything that's his famous older stronger brother in physical combat! I'd be hyped to see that fight! And how Mecha Sonic would react or benefit.
