@ninja3238 i'm pretty sure you unlock them all when you defeat bowser (the second time) after you've completed worlds 1 though S (120 stars?). NCS didn't really specify but i think that's why.

the three stars in starshine are:1 you use pepper yoshi to walk on the water and then jump to it 2 is get the cloud flower from going through the underwater entrance to the tower then using the lily pad to get to the trampoline then use the flower after the trampoline jump and 3 i think it's on a tree and you use yoshi to get it(not sure bout that one) hope i helped :)

@Deadeye7177 I was already used to "You got a star!" from Super Mario Galaxy and the main stars in this game, so that wasn't an issue. Having to wait an extra 3 seconds to go into a galaxy isn't much of a problem, but it's still annoying.

@dewybmt I know that, I was referring to the prefix as well. It would sound ridiculous if he said he had so and so many gigawatts of memory. By the way both pronunciations are correct check it out in a dictionary the soft and hard g sound are interchangeable such as fish have gills and i can drink beer by the gill with a soft g sound and before anyone says something about that look up gill is a 4 fluid ounces
