I remember watching this particular episode when I was 5 years old CONSTANTLY. Could not tell you why specifically this one. I loved watching this back then on my ipad in 2011 and just watch whatever Mario videos there were online. I was really into listening to the melodies NCS was singing in the levels and one particular moment where he said “AWWWW shit- sorry guys I didn’t mean to swear”. I used to quote NCS saying “awww shit” constantly back then not knowing what it meant, until one day my parents heard it while I was (ironically) playing SMG2 after I died. There were so upset at me. I remember my grandparents were there too and were like “What are you teaching those words for?!”, as if they were responsible for teaching me those words. They asked me where I learned that word from and I deadass said “from Mario on the ipad”. Fun times. So glad I grew up watching these videos.

Dude that game was awesome. The lions were doing great in the first half but then got stupoid in the second half and New England walked all over them. And I'm from new england so its just that much more awesome. Anywho... I decided not to try and catch up on your videos right away, and just watch the newer ones because I was missing the calm yet strangely disturbing vibe your videos give off. bouldergeist was one of my favorite bosses and i barely had trouble on the daredevil comet. for some reason i found fiery dino piranha and major burrows to be WAY harder.

I'm not familiar with Shadow of the Colossus, so when I see Bouldergeist I think of Thardus from Metroid Prime since they are both giant rocks (in fact, an LPer on here put in the Thardus music while fighting Bouldergeist in SMG1). Oh, and the Lions got smoked 45-24.

@john2114505 well, Dino Piranha could be an entire species and so a dead one is replaced each time you play that level/star. The Peewee Piranha could simply be a Dino Piranha whose egg hasn't fully grown over its body yet but it is ready to fight, and so that could be a mere subspecies. So could Fiery Dino Piranha. And each of these bosses bite their tongue when beaten. Then they explode into purple dust. If a Piranha Plant bites its tongue while unconscious, it dies. Lucky Petey doesn't bite it

@roshipower I don't mean to be mean to you, and I'm not rying to either, but the speed run is BRUTAL. You have to have everything exactly timed and the slightest mistake will screw you up. Plus, the time is FIVE minutes, about 4 minutes less then what NCS did here. (Also, I had trouble with the bouldergeist dare devil too so you're not alone.)
