This'll always be my favourite FMV game. The combination of awkward dialogue yet surprisingly good voice actin g just works so well. I love how depressing and lifeless and oppressive the City of Mists is.

This tone is perfectly sleepy the color palette, everything. I crave more things similar. Eerie weird curious and peaceful all the same. Strange characters. I love how they all say ‘city of moons’ what a dream place and immediately leave the room-“A paradise” then promptly walk out the door trailing off. Lol.

Hotel Dusk: Room 215 has a sorta similar vibe. It's kind of sleepy and hazy. The characters consist of really well-animated pencil sketches like the "Take On Me" music video, but the rest of the game has a kind of low-res semi-realistic mundane 3D world look to it. It's all topped off with great dialogue and a lovely light jazz soundtrack.

Deracine is exclusive to PSVR but it's really similar to an FMV style game. Developed by From Software and directed by Miyazaki himself. It's a fantastic game that sticks with you.

Came here specifically to fall asleep to it. I already love to rewatch/relisten to the Game Grumps playthrough and giggle along to them experiencing this weird-ass gem, but I’m excited to try the No Commentary for sleepy times

Wow, this has some sophisticated CGI for its time. I was half-expecting Agent Francis York Morgan to show up and start talking to Zack about "FK in the coffee", and then Laura from "D" to appear and talk about her father in the hospital. Love these oddball games so much!

This off-beat, moody FMV adventure is a great pick if you're looking to get into the Halloween spirit without buckets of blood. It's so damned odd. I love it.

Learned about this game a few months ago in a video about obscure/weird games of the 90s and I'm glad I finally got to see a full playthrough since I really have no way of actually playing Saturn games ...very interesting game to say the least, but I liked it!💖

Oh, it's useless, brings so many memories from my childhood, i'll never forget this game, i enjoyed playing "The mansion of hidden souls" too because it was the same genre/type of gameplay😂

Was this played on the system or did you use an emulator? If an emulator, which one? I am using bizhawk, but I can not get disk swapping to work. Wish they would update it to use the disc swap like epsxe has since it is easy.
