I'll start. Remember this is speculation? so it might not be true. Infinite coin glitch: Freeze koopa + flip gate = confuse the game. what happens is you freeze the koopa so it falls and produces a coin. flipping the gate causes the game to think he is still alive so he produces multiple coins. notice the koopa kind of circles the ice block when the glitch is in effect. I think this supports my theory. I hope I made sense, but it might not be true anyways.

oh ok. going to try my best to tell you this is wrong as polite as i can, and tell you this, from my understanding, how it works. i dunno you MIGHT be right, but again, this is MY understanding. Basically the game warps you to a larger version of the interior of the hut which is located above the real hut. but when you use a rocket nozzle you can not only clip out of the hut, but the height from the nozzle gives you the ability to dive out of the hut, into the real plaza. It's invisible because when you are outside the hut, the interior above it is invisible, and vice versa. Sorry if this contradicts your beliefs. you can believe anything you want about this.

The infinite coins glitch in nsmbw confuses the game in a way like, say, killing a Koopa on a gate by freezing it and breaking the ice, while flipping the gate. The game considers the Koopa as alive (due to flipping the gate...?), while the falling ice kills the Koopa. Therefore, a coin is produced EVERY FRAME, which results in roughly 60 coins per second max since the game runs at 60 frames per second. The game will eventually crash if too many coins are stacked on the screen, which may be the results of overloading the Wii beyond the limit.

This video would be better with some commentary (voice or text) describing why these glitches occur, how to consistently get them to work, and why you decided to put them on this list. The harmless Bowser one had a bit too much video footage. You don't need to show going through the entire stage to show a glitch at the end of it, and it becomes especially slow without commentary.
