only complaint i have about this game is the music and sound effects (and some visual effects) make the game less intense in the newer one. But other than that great remaster!

Right? I feel like the remake had stripped away the charm form the original, especially the boss fight music, its not as hectic. I also loved the arcade-like sound effects from the original. It may sound dumb but I don’t think I’m going to get the new one due to it looking so modern and like it stripped away the colors and charm of the original

​@chipperpuppet427 Unless you wanna play the new co-op mode, my recommendation is, don't buy it. A lot of things have changed from the original, and not for the better. A lot has been stripped from it so if you're a fan of the original and you want it to be better than or just like the original, you're not going to get that.
