I am a licensed massage therapist, daily stretching or yoga outside of your van on a mat and a tennis ball to release the tight areas in your shoulders and spine, you can do that on your bed, especially if it is firm enough. Simple equipment for the van that does not take up much space. Try thai yoga massage, it is the best, you will feel like you never had an ache and pain in your body after that massage. Make sure the therapist has years of experience in that modality. This is after you are healed.

This winter when I was in Arizona in the backcountry the ground was pretty wet and dusty for such things. I did use picnic tables when they were available. Nothing heals more than doing less of what aggravates the issue. For now I will enjoy being at my Tiny Home and heal. Thanks for the wise advice. Cheers!

Your landlady sounds like the Best person ever to have around. Her flowers are absolutely stunning and how lovely it is that you get them presented to you so often. Brightens ones soul, in my opinion, to have a vase or two of them around. I was all ready to sign on the dotted line six yrs ago for my own tiny home, until I was told that the quote I was given, had not taken into consideration everything required for solar. That made all the difference as to whether I could actually afford it, or not. Was gutted with this news, to say the least. So van it was. I've just spent five days clearing out my storage unit. Tough decisions had to be made about what went and what stayed, with me in my van. So little room. Many items sadly went searching for a new home with the help of the hospice charity shop. Spending hrs going through the 60 yr collection of my late parents photos, knowing that they couldn't all be kept. I am still having to make a path to my bed each day, as I decide what might fit where. Very sad that so many of the young generation, notably here my two granddaughters, have no interest in collecting the odd piece from generations passed, to pass on to their young ones one day. Different times. Their Dad, my youngest, has always had an interest in past generations in his family in that respect, but his wife is of a different culture and was not brought up with those thoughts. But, as I always say ' it is what it is' and this Nana is still doing her utmost 'not to sweat the small stuff' so to speak.😊 By doing what I have, I have saved my sons from having the need to do so much once I have departed 😉🙃🙂. I adore your little furry bandit buddy btw Mindy.❤ A ghastly cold wet day here Mindy. 🌧☔❄ So pleased that you are faring better in that department there, atm. Love your bath! Wow, IKEA has really good manual! Large enough, where you could see it! List everything in the box including screws! I have never bought anything from IKEA. I’m pretty impressed with the. Instructions it shows that they care about their customers after they sell a product. ❤ it

This was actually from TEMU, and so were the chairs. It is just like assembling IKEA furniture...but you do need a power screw driver and a tiny hammer to make light work. Cheers!

Thanks for sharing. Where you are in your journey is more similar to where we are. Me, my beloved, and my brother share a manufactured home, which we have taken as a very street legal tiny house. We are using a lot of ideas from the tiny house world and the van life world, and love watching videos and actually implementing the ideas (like multiple modes of space use, shelves on walls that do not affect the floor space, and wise furniture what holds a lot of stuff but does not dominate the room). Once one gets the right mindset it seems logical. We, too, decided to not go for a loft and to keep everything on one level. We also work on a beautiful outside and like our garden (and even have a few Buddha statues too). Blessings and always keep it real like you do!

Hi Magdalena, Happy Summer Solstice and Full Summer Moon to you and yours. My recovery has been slow, but it is going. Dang It! I am so sorry that you are experiencing this incident. Power needs for one in a Tiny Camper vs power needs for a home with multiple people will be different. Check out @WillProwse on KZbin, he will cover what your family needs and have active coupon codes. I will be using an AllPowers 2000 watt and a Jackery 2000 watt pro for needs this Winter if we lose power. When you get your battery plug your fridge into it and practice like it is a "real scenario". See how long it lasts. Put water bottles in your freezer and when the power goes out, transfer a few to the fridge, this will help the fridge to run less while conserving your battery. You can cycle the fridge on and off manually to conserve energy too. Good luck friend, you got this. Cheers!

Thanks Mindy - How FUN you are! I am in the process of setting my Dodge Ram 1500 up for Solar Power, and also considering the long HOT summer here at our house. By the way I am in the process of designing 2 add on bathrooms for 2nd Floor, and I am now going to add one on our outside porch with a sauna! It's all about the quality of our day to day life - right? I hope your healing is super charged with this Solstice and Boon of Solar Energy. I understand completely, as I was hit by a drunk driver and manage with 6 herniated discs. As I have aged, it has become more complicated and led to a severe depression which darn near killed me. Thru therapy ( all kinds possible) Family and Friends - I have survived. I must admit that You Tubers have had a real impact on my Social Awareness. In Finding Like Minds over the Past 2 Years, especially here on your channel, the Journeys shared help to know we are just a click away from a Community who can share concerns and love. @NinthElement Borax can eradicate skin bacteria, dead skin cells & excess oils. Yet, it seems to not deeply penetrate the skin. Can also use Bentonite Clay to detox Heavy Metals.

Wow - 6 weeks into a back injury is one serious injury - a 70 yr old masters athlete and sounds like a life style change is needed specifically to your core - after recovery of course. I don’t know if you do weights or balance exercises which would activate your core.? Know you have a bike but not sure how much you use it? Your van life does seem a bit sedentary, I travel in a van and make sure I do a minimum of 90 minutes of swimming, biking or running daily 6 days a week. Good luck with your continued recovery, but maintenance needs to be incorporated daily. You got this Girl !
