For your start routine you can at least use the speaker Icon on the main screen to deactivate speed warnings quickly. Also you can configure a individual driving mode and edit the driving modes so that you toggle only between comfort (always rest after start by law) and individual ✌️

Spot on, resale value is as bad as it can be as well. For example you can take a look at Chinese market where you buy an ET5 for about 328K chinese yuan new(with 75kwh battery) and then one year later and maybe 5-10k km on odometer you would be lucky if second hand car dealership will offer you 180-190K chinese yuan for that car. That's -40-50% value... And same thing happens with all other Chinese EVs, which makes me wonder how rich you should be that -40-50% value loss in a year doesn't make you worried at all. P.S.: And too many Nio minders popped out from all corners telling us how brilliant their services and cars are.... My God, take your soft power back to your homeland, it works only there.

The issue with the Lidar is strange. I don't understand why this happend. Okay the Lidar could be blocked, but not from the winter conditions with some salt and other things from the street. I know this blocking from the normal Radar system which is used in other brands. Nio need there juice from the wiper system, as what Volkswagen or Audi is doing with the rear camera. But for me and my understanding, the Lidar System should not been blocked from some winter conditions. What will be in summer with rain? Is it also blocked?

I'll say it again, battery swap is a novelty. buying a new car then getting the equivalent of a 5 year old degraded battery when you swsp it is not ideal at all.

Keeping your battery for 10 years is not ideal either, you could charge a NIO for 5 years, then swap it out. Better to have the batteries checked in the swap station. Swapping might work better for people who don't have charging at home.

@@D4M4K4 according to Bjorn's tests. It is faster, quieter, it carries more boxes, more efficient with 20-25% more range, charges much much faster. And, it is cheaper too. Design, comfort, software pretty much similar. Quality, can't say. From the video interior seems better in G9.

Their supplier did not have a product available that could be integrated at that time. They now have, and it will be used on NIOs 3 generation cars that will come out in 2025😊

I am honestly SHOCKED by the consumption figures! HOW?!? is a midsize SUV THIS inefficient? How did Nio manage to fuck the efficiency up this badly? Do they have an electrolyser under the hood to turn electricity into hydrogen before running that through a 2011 6L V12 Bentley continental combustion engine to get the thing rolling or what is going on?!?

Not far off the eqe suv 350 4 matic test that was done in summer. Also the el6 i bigger and twice as fast😊. Also in the 90 winter test the el6 is more efficient than the much smaller BMW ix50

Compare apples to apples, not a fair comparison in regards to temperature difference in the range test. Look at the range results again....

The results are close enough. And if you pay attention, you will see that e-tron in fact had the highest temperature (+1°C) whereas the other cars had -1°C and -3°C. Also keep in mind that the e-tron tested was Sportback which is smaller but more efficient. A more fair comparison would be regular e-tron which is even less efficient.

They are installing about 3 battery swap stations per day and each have 21 batteries inside. So 33 new batteries needed every day. They say that every new car with 100kWh pack will have the 100b inside. Because there are just very few et5t and el6 sold in Norway, there is a very big chance you will get the old model.😊

The logic of battery swap got a new contra point for me. Which battery did you get? In 3 Years, a old, slow battery for own charging is crap. If you have a 200kW battery in your car, you avoid swap... aaaah, this system is getting worst and worst for me.

its a battery gamble every time. With many generations of batterys in the swap stations. And Nio can not afford to pull old batterys from their cycle.

One other point that I haven't seen mentioned is that if you rent your battery then the re-sale price of your car will be very unattractive to second hand car purchasers. Your car will depreciate as it gets older and less modern but the cost of having a battery in it will only likely get higher.

Who has a 200kwh battery, not everyone has a charger. Maybe don't swap for the first 3 to 5 years, then swap. Being stuck with a battery for 8 years is not ideal either.
