We need battery swap like nio charger is taking too long 2or 3 hours charge battery swap only 3 minutes fully charge

People who own houses don't give a shit about battery swapping station, but even in the U.S., 40% of people don't have houses. We need battery swaps as well so we can conveniently get a fresh 100% battery in minutes, just like pumping gas for ICE vehicles, and they must coexist with traditional ev chargers.

Interesting how it was conveniently 'forgotten' to mention how quick a battery swap is to perform...less than 5 minutes. CNN...where important facts and context are simply anathema and where propagation of the predetermined, 'official' narrative is top priority.

I agree that Battery Swap is better than EV Chargers. But how do you solve the issue when someone came in with a faulty battery that can sabotage the whole station?

Each battery that is brought in is tested, if it fails it is pulled out of the system and fixed. Only NIO batteries will swap in the system.

I am an ES6 owner for 3 years. They’ll test it in the station before the car is allowed to leave after the swapping- you’ll see the green light with voice reminders in the car. Any batteries with defects will be replaced. As a user, I don’t need to worry about the battery life or quality years after I buy the car - all I need to do is going to the swap station again. Except for the first time when I was reluctant to hand over the fairly new battery to the station 😂

I watched a video where a Tesla owner was on his third battery replacement, it was under warranty so it was free. The battery replacement was a refurbished battery not a new one. I do not own a EV , if NIOs are available in my area I would only buy a EV that has a swappable battery. Battery replacement out of warranty on a Tesla can run up to $20,000. No thanks…
