chidori only knocks them up if the enemy is out of ki. its not about the hitbox

Appreciate the tip on the fatal thrust, my man! I usually don't get the "hold to perform" running moves but that one's goes right into a grapple and seems like something I'd mix into my combos.

for chidori the description literally says IF IT DEPLETES THE ENEMIES KI it will launch them into the air.

For Tripple Treat timing I'm relying on the sound effect instead. I press the button as soon as I heard the *whoosh* sound twice. So it goes like this, *whoosh whoosh* press, *whoosh whoosh* press and it work really well for me.

Love the content man, I had to try spear because it looks so flashy. Pole kick’s Ki damage is one of the first things I noticed about the weapon and I use it as a crutch lol

My body wasn't ready. Especially for that beautiful Backslash into Resounding Lunge. Thank you so much for this man, going to study it in-depth to improve my Spear. Can I ask a question - could you give some skill customization recommendations? Such as what should I put Masterful Slice and ATK Bonus: Const on? Just not sure what is best for which ability. Thanks!

It's really a matter of preference. I put Masterful Slice on Spear Bash to get a little more ki damage out of it. But, I might swap that to Fatal Thrust idk. For damage boosts, I could put it on Twisting Spear but I hardly use that. It really depends on how you play.

@@PooferLlama Thanks so much man! I've found that putting Deliberate Slice (30% extra on Ki Pulse) works so well for Triple Threat, but I wasn't sure about the others. I almost thought of going balls to the wall and puting Raging Slice on Cull the Herd for massive damage haha

10:06 10:37 As a Master Spear user in Nioh 2, this hurts... So, to use Chidori here, it probably works better if I put into a video, but this seems like a more logical route to me at the moment, you have to be RIGHT IN-FRONT of them, I know you were, but you weren't close enough (I know I look stupid right now). I put it in each spear build I make for the intention of it hitting opponents that are tall enough(Yokai, usually), and/or WHEN I do run a human enemy's ki low enough. Chidori w/o the follow-up IS good for decreasing ki, but I'm for the follow-up, regardless of the fact that I rarely get a chance to use it against humans. And for extra damage, I reside in the Maeda Clan for extra thrust damage and Especially the Debuff of the enemy's defense on grapple. Did I forget something..? Edit: 14:05 ...Eh-? I FEEL like something is not right...

Yes. In fact, you can pair any weapons and get great results. It does require a bunch of knowledge and practice though.
