Nioh - How to Get The Best Ninja Set - Head of the Iga Ninja

In Nioh, players will traverse war-torn Japan as William, a blonde-haired swordsman whose background as a fierce warrior and seasoned knowledge of the blade allows him to survive in the demon-plagued land of the samurai. Known as Yokai, these demons inhabit a number of dangerous locations and lie in wait in the shadows to ambush unsuspecting victims. Players will also face off with other samurai in supernatural sword battles and intense, multi-target engagements offering a level of difficulty that will truly test even the most hardened samurai’s skills, patience, and strategy.

They are much weaker than weapons you get later on. Since he only drops them at around level 60, once you start getting level 90-100 equip you see over 100 base damage difference.

Btw you can get the same things in adept you unlock it after the 6th mission. I did it once and got all of the prices except for the boots which I got the second time.

I wish the ninja mask that the actual ninja enemies that you fight against dropped their mask. It's modelled on the one that Sonny Chiba wore as Hattori Hanzo in the Shadow Warriors tv series. Don't know why it is not available to wear but worn by the enemies and looks super cool

i was very lucky, i dont know if revenant that spawn are predetermined because i was planning to farm Iga set and i got schematic for after 3 tries in dojo mission. After i go for the spider level because i need materials. Then i found that revenant spawn just outside the shrine after the first double doors and he will always drop iga set pieces (celestial, way of strong) . So farm i bit to get multiple copies and then i choose the best 150 gear ones

I did this with the novice dojo missions and he drops the same thing but scaled down to the mid 40's range of level. Sucks you have to have the katana as your 2nd weapon, to get the 7 piece bonus, but it's fine since I just main kusarigama to begin with. If Fromsoft games have taught me anything. Fashion > function #fashionsouls

I've gotten all the 7 pieces of the iga ninja set but I'm not getting the set bonuses. I've only gotten the 2piece damage reduction for the kusarigama and katana. The appearal is coloured red and I can't avail the 4-7 piece set bonuses. What am I doing wrong?

I think you might be missing the stats required to activate the effects. Check the bottom most lines for the stats required, but I think it's 12body 13 skill?

Count Dread use light armor and level up dexterity. that's the best start to do. second stat to upgrade is body. third maybe spirit

It could be that you dont meet the stat requiremwnts for the armour peices. You need 12/13 stamina and skill to use them, unless you have crafted them, then the stat requirements are less

No, the iga set only starts dropping from ninjas after you have completed the Iga Escape. Best way to farm it early is the adept ninja training mission, but that still requires reaching the 3rd region

It works. I farmed that fight. Noticed that gear dropped and was pleasantly surprised to discover what it was. Three fights... that's all it took to get all 7 pieces and the armor smithing manual.

I farmed him for the entire set, and the armor blueprints. You can actually farm him using the second Ninja training dojo mission.

Clayton why is he farming veteran? is there greater chance for purples? also have been farming adept but no weapon blueprints got full set and full set armor BPs though

I don't honestly know. All I know is that they dropped for me during the second dojo training mission. I haven't gotten the weapons blueprints, but they honestly wouldn't help all that much for me as I tend to utilize the skills (ninja/onmyo) more than sword play. Cause recurring damage while darting in for a quick few strikes. There might be a chance to get all things required for forging the set (weapons included) during the last fight so he might have been focusing on that for simplicities sake, kind of only having to look in only one place.

Clayton​ thanks yeah that's possible. I have about the same playstyle I think except humans or anything that can be tripped I trip them and then final damage them repeatedly. That's another thing I've been wondering. How high a % ninjitsu unlimited you can get on one stat. The bat spirit is also worth testing out since he gives a ninjitsu buff.

I honestly have no idea... I just got to the part where the Onmyo lady brings the old codger guy who leads you to the next mission. I've been wondering which spirit gave a ninja boost. I've been using the dragon in order to farm gold and amita. I'm running a build kind of like this: The two stats needed for Iga Ninja set (skill and body I think) at their needed levels Dex and Onmyo at 25/23 Spirit at the last listed number on Dragon. (not able to look it up atm) Poison shruiken and bombs and fire/lightning/earth shot equips. Even though I'm currently a good 10+ levels above my armor (low 40s) I'm still breezing through most of the content when I do play. I do tend to be focusing more on Ninja power since that's all I ever seem to be able to find as opposed to unlimited ninjitsu. Only finding low percentage levels for unlimited ninja... which kinda makes it hard to give up all my Ninja power. Most of the set I farmed gives Ninja power, not to mention the insane boost you get from having a certain number of Iga Ninja pieces equipped. I would like to be able to utilize the unlimited boost more as I tend to run out of items on longer runs between shrines and I have to menu delve to set up other readied items. It is kinda hard to plan a build as there seems to be literally no recent info out there. All build stuff Ive seen is from the demos. I have a book of respec ready though for when I reach endgame. I'll be trying to test out the differences between ninja power and ulimited. I am kind of hoping there is a set that drops which gives bonus to Ninja and Onmyo since I'm utilizing both. There are perks in both styles which help the other out. The slow talisman for one... I use that and then loadup the boss with poison, fire and lightning (giving them the extra debuff). It's kind of amusing to watch because by the time the slow runs out, 1/5-1/4 of the hp bar will be gone. I'm interested in building a boss killer build... basically debuff the heck out of the boss to where they are simply as powerful as a standard enemy.

Clayton​​ well this build is fine for now but new game plus I'm not sure. You may be splitting your points too much. I did mainly Dex and skill might not need so much skill though but I read at 15 or 20 points damage increases are lowered. I think onmyo is worth learning but there isn't a set that raises both same time. You could just change the substats by reforging but you want to get all purple gear so you have more stats to reroll. I think this ninja set is good for this. I mean cowboy doesn't even have good stats on his armor yet. I doubt we can get enough unlimited % to make that star worthwhile but maybe. I think there was a guardian that raises onmyo and there is a clan that gives +50 onmyo. The bat guardian gives ninjitsu power I think but no clan. Clans are unlocked by completing a main mission later on. It's not that difficult most of the time anyways but like you I like to break the boss and the game.

The best way for have the plan to forge his weapons and armor set is not to do the mission The way of the ninja : veteran, you should do The way of the ninja : adept because this mission is easiest than the veteran mission so it's fastest to farm the plan on it.

how high is your luck, and human item drop percentage on gear and accesories? Join the clan with luck and also guardian spirit for luck to help. i know it's 3 years old, but this is for those in the future with same problem.

the set is shit... we definitely need more ninja sets AND more diverse looking ninja gear... only the shinobi fashioned things look good, but thats only 2 sets, and one of em is purple ffs... i need a white one, or a blue one... yeah i am nitpicking, the game is fuckin awesome
