Emperor and Empress who are on State Visit to UK, traveled to Young V&A, part of the V&A family of museums dedicated to the power of creativity around the world, where the museum’s Japan: Myths to Manga exhibition is currently on display.
Also, they watched the short performance of the stage "My Neighbor Totoro" now played in London and winner of numerous awards. They spoke to the main cast after the performance.

Of all the clips I have seen of the Japanese emperor and empress. This is the most connect. I have seen them particularly to be young children. They seem to be totally relaxed and at ease, it reminds me of when Diana Princess of Wales used to be with children her self, she certainly could connect?🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧🇯🇵👏

@@keikorogers I have some Japanese pearls from my Great Grandfather to my Grandmother, don't think they're Mikimoto though :)

@@Songbirdstress In 1893, the founder Kokichi Mikimoto successfully created the world's first cultured pearls. Ever since then, Mikimoto has been seeking to harness the allure of pearls, translating their hopes and dreams into pearl necklaces for over 130 years. I guess yours is Mikimoto 🙆

@@keikorogers But there aren't only Mikimoto, Mikimoto invented the technique, many other brands used it too. Would love to know, but I think their origin is lost to the mists of time. I hope to visit the Mikimoto artificial island when I go to Japan next year. :)
