Usually I try to book a hotel on Tennozu Isle as I like this place. It looks modern but is quite quiet. Also you have direct connections to Haneda Airport and Odaiba/Tokyo Big Sight.

Awesome footage! Cycling in Japan seems better than the States... I wouldn't call this city totally bicycle-friendly though. Too many bike gutters. Some separation in a few stretches though. Sadly cycling is treated like a side activity and not a mode of transit. Japanese drivers certainly have way more patience with cyclists, that's always a plus. Stay safe out there!

Great video! Watching as a westerner it’s still uncanny that driving on the left side of the road is completely ok and the roadways are devoid of any honking and loud noises, I’m also reminiscing about my visit to Tokyo in 2011, enjoyed Shinjuku and a visit to the Sony tower. There were a handful of cyclists on what seems to be a beautiful day.
