you still need nirnhoned for the traits to have ALL 9 weather it alone is good or not doesnt matter, you WILL need this for crafting any 9 trait items

This is an old video but provides good advice on resistance I see where impen. Has played a pivotal role in pvp I had switched to nirnhoned a long time ago when I can afford it.

Back before the craftbag came out and I had just started the game I was selling this stiff to the merchants just to get rid of it. Hardly anyone was farming it at that time and I'd run around for hours just collecting it. I knew NO ONE on the game to help me understand what was worthless and valuable as I wasn't in a guild. But I did keep 200 of each, potent and fortified, that helped me when did learn what they were for. Thankfully I did too because its hard to find it anymore with how many players farm it since we got the craftbag!

Hand to god I've found potent nirn at the rubdite ore node right next to the guild traders in Belkarth. I've found multiple nirns under the line people say there is. I'm not sure if it got changed to all of Craglorn now. I've also got double fortified nirn or one potent one fortified off of one node. Have screenshots.

Yes it has been changed from what ive heard you can find Nirncrux in all of Craglorn.

got a vet 14 sorc that i use for doing all the crafts hadn't thought of specing him out to make him faster at harvesting to, just need to make a set with well fitted trait on all pieces and take the steed mundus, and i will have to make sure that i get the passive from the champ points for the quick harvesting. Thanks for the advice have only found 2 nirncrux so far and they were while doing writ surveys in upper cragy.

I watch a ton of your videos and always learn something new. That being said either PC is different than Xbox and ps4 or you might be wrong on this one. So far I have only found nirn in 3 nodes. Void cloth and metal and nightwood. Maybe this video is before something changed via a update. Let us know will ya or maybe remove this video and redo it for the update. Thanks Del. Deltia, I'm pretty sure nirncrux only drops from nodes that can use the trait. This was covered in an ESO live a while back. For example, woodworking, clothing and metalworking. Marius Alexander Winsjansen Heavy sacks are all crafting materials so I understand that as well as the mobs that drops medium armor scraps. But not from alchemy or enchanting nodes.

nirnhoned doesn’t have this effect any more. Instead of a % it’s just a solid amount. From what it looks like it just ads 420 spell an physical resistance on a non rare piece of armor.

Spell resistance doesn't help against stamina builds. Anyways I would say that the most part of the damage in PVP comes from magicka skills... Also a good point is: I don't know what kind of damage do siege weapons, if true damage, physical or magic... if it is magic then this Trait is extreme valuable.

Damn mate, You are obviously lucky, I farm like this all the time and since 1.6 went live i found my first 3 Nirncrux on Saturday, within 5 minutes of each other from the same node. I went farming last night again, spent 2 hours and still no nirncrux. To stop resource poachers I pull the mobs onto the resources i want and fight them there as i have numerous idiots who run in and poach my resource.

been wondering, and sorry if this has already been covered, do they have a chance of dropping from "fish bait nodes"? like insects? im sure butterflies have a chance since they can also drop alchemy material but what about the wasps? (not the larger, hostile ones but the tiny harmless ones that no one can ever actually see until the action button pops up) as far as I can remember, ive only seen those drop fish bait, not alchemy reagents (correct me if im wrong plz). I know im not the only one who will be farming nodes, running full sprint, then STOP!!!!, backtrack, cause you saw that clickable thingy somewhere as you ran past lol

So when i complete the upper craglorn questline it will be guaranteed to give me a piece of nirnhoned gear or weapons still? Also if I kill any enemy will that drop nirnhoned gear and/or weapons as well? Like a regular enemy or boss (world boss or quest boss or delve boss for example)

Im lvl37 and still dont need to make gear, its frustrating .. I was hoping at V1 i could justify a set, now i hear VR ranks are going.. Aernt they essentially chopping down the replayability? (with no VR thats no need for a LOT of mats/grinds).. I cant see why they would do that.

Can you make a new update of Nirnhoned? See if nirnhoned double swords stack, like 15% on each hand should increase weapon damage in sheets by 30% right? If not why do others stack and not this?

Deltia, i love using the bow but i also love the templar. I want to use the bow for my main DPS and all of the templar skills use magika. Should i go for more of a magika build or stamina? Please help!

I want to know if the armor nirnhoned works like this: 7 armor spots * 18%= 126% or is it 7 armor spots / 18= 2.5% per piece. i think your best chance of finding it is by doing crafting writs (the daily crafting quests) and winning survey maps (30% chance to drop after completeing it) , get lost treasure addon to get the precise location of it

Manny Sanchez There is nirnhoned and nirncrux, crux is on weapons and you'll have to already have it researched to be able to craft it. Completing the craglorn main quest rewards 1 nirn item, so you'll have to ask or buy an item crafted from another player with the trait on it.

+Nigel Calderbank They have changed this trait now works. It only gives extra spell rest the the piece of armor and NOT your entire pool of spell resist. Deltia really should add a note to this video regarding this.

If you want slightly more spell resist than the reinforced trait gives, then go with this. But note that this will obviously only give you spell resist, whereas he reinforced will give both spell res and physical res.

This isn't valid anymore. Nirnhoned armor has been totally nerfed, it only gives a little over 300 physical and spell resistance per piece at Legendary rating. That's it. It's not worth farming anymore for armor. Nirnhoned weapons are still the best, adding 15% damage, but for armor you're better off going "divine" on everything, then use "the Lady" munras stone, and you will more than double your overall resistance in comparison to Nirnhoned. Even "Reinforced' is probably better at this point as well.

nirn is incredibly broken and overpowered in pvp, sad that you would encourage its use. Pvp is already stupid enough without it, we dont need EVERYBODY running around with it.

GamingWithAPlatypus I'm encouraging ZOS to watch this video and fix it. I don't like as much as you, but why not let the secret out so they can actually fix this once I show how over powered it is. You can complain or do something about a broken system. And not being able to use magickal builds is PvP is terrible.
