Really cool tribute. Cornell had probally the best, and most recognizable voice on the radio. You know thinking about it, that is why the whole grunge thing is hard to label. Each bands vocalist sounded so very different. Think about the difference in Kurt, Chris , Layne, and Eddie. All great in their own way, but all had different styles. I do believe Cornell had the best actual singing talent of them all, with Staley a very close second. But Kurt's my favorite of the group I must say.

It's not just their voice and style. It's the lyrics. Nirvana's lyrics have more anger to them then Soundgarden's. Either way, every grunge artists death is extremely sad. Especially when they come from the 90s bands which are usually the more popular and loved one due to the rising of grunge music. Kurt's death left a hole in music, Layne's made it bigger, and now Chris's has made the hole impossible to fill. It's super sad to think that Eddie is the only one left. I just hope I get to see Pearl Jam at least once before it dies off too.

SurfingOnBrainwaves yes, but not in the same vein or with such demi god reverence as Nirvana, AIC et al. Whenever you hear people rank the groups of that day, STP are either left out or at the back of the pack.
